Hi Future Mrs. Howard

You're going to love San Diego in Jan. It's a beautiful time of year. It's cooler in the evening and the sun for the most part is out shinning on the city in the day! It can rain here and there, but even if it does, it's beautiful. I'm in San Diego all the time, I just love it down there.

Okay first, if you've never been to San Diego, you have to go to SeaWorld, it's just something to see!!! When don't forget about The San Diego Zoo. And you have to see HOTEL DEL CORONADO, it's so pretty, great place to take photos, it over looks the Pacific Ocean. I'm not sure where you're staying but I highly recommend you at least stay one night there. Here's photos of the hotel, take a look, you're going to fall in love http://sandiego.traveler.bz .

You, also need to check out La Jolla, beautiful homes right on the cliffs and great little places to eat in the La Jolla Village! And don't forget about the Old Town Trolley Tours of San Diego, they are super duper enjoyable! Here's the trolley's schedule, trolleytours.com/San-Diego/tour-schedules.asp. There is so much to do in San Diego, and you can even take the Train into Los Angeles for the day if you wanted. But the best for last, you have to go the "Spa Tiki" it's so relaxing. spatiki.com/

Enjoy your time in San Diego, have a wonderful time!!!!

It is sometimes rainy but the temps are moderate. Of course there is Old Town, the Zoo which are must sees. Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, the embarcadero, wine tasting up in the Temecula Valley, LaJolla, Julian for apple pie and an old Western experience, the historic hotel Del Coronado is a wonderful place to catch a drink and eat some appetizers, the Gaslamp district, the light house at Point Loma, Cabrillo state monument, mission beach is popular, if you like hiking the Mission Trails or up in Escondido at the Daley Ranch for stunning views.

You must see Coronado Island. It's very clean and has much to see. Also, they have an outdoor mall that is fun as well. It is set up like a maze, so if you see a store you want to go to, don't take the obvious route, chances are you'll never get there. I also recommend buying a map of the mall. LOL
