I used to have a short hair dog and never had a problem. This one is a sheltie mix with longer hair. Is there something I can do. I've bathed him and brusehed him several times...please help!!

You can talk to your doctor about getting allergy medicine to take on a daily basis so you won't be allergic to your dog.

I'm extremely allergic to my cats in additional to many other allergies. My regular meds did nothing for my cat allergies. Once I started getting allergy shots I stopped having a reaction to them. The only problem that lasts is if they rub against my face in the winter or if I rub my eyes after petting them.

go your doctor and get meds for you. people are usually allergic to the dander the dog gives off. There are special soaps for removing it better on your dog, check with your vet.
