My dog just bit my son for the second time, it happened once before about 6 months ago. The dog is old (but still in good health - he's 12 and a mixed shepherd breed) and just wants to be left alone. My son is a very active 5 year old and wants to play. He snapped at my son yesterday & got him really good on the brow bone, piercing the skin and there's bruising all around my son's eye (he didn't get the actual eye, thank the universe). I don't feel safe with my dog around my son. The dog would be heart broken if I gave him away. Should I put him down?

They came in bags, not boxes. Each bag had a different cartoon monster on the front. The cookies themselves were made to look like a bite had been taken out of them. The joke was that the monster at the cookie factory was eating all the cookies.

I know it didn't have anything to do with Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.

They were around in the early 80s. Does anyone remember what they were called?

If it is not for religious reason, not for health reason, why would a dad (his dad decided) want to have him circumcised ? By the way he is happy to be circumcised.

It makes me feel that this one person is giving thumbs down to all the answers on my questions, so that the answerers will hate me (because they'll think "I" rated them down) Geez . . .

Any thoughts about this?

Where do you draw the line with online friends of the opposite sex? When does friendship become an online affair? Am I being paranoid, or is this something I should be worried about? Our home lives have become rather dull, but I don't think he's cheated on me, at least yet.

My hubby is talking to an ex of his via email and some of the comments are becoming quite explicit. He left his email open one night and I quite innocently noticed what was happening and had to read. They are planning to get together when he is in the area during christmas break. She lives out of state, so for now it has been confined to email. They are reminescing about their days as teenagers nearly 20 years ago and how they should not have broken up the relationship. He talks about taking her swimming with her two children, wanting to see her again in a bathing suit. He wants to get a seedy hotel room for them both to meet up in.

I think that there are alot of times when we are praying for things, and asking God to help us, but sometimes what we want, and what he has in His plan for us are two different things. I believe that everything happens in Gods time. If I pray for something and it doesnt happen, then I know that it wasnt part of His plan. I have come to realize that if you put your entire faith in Him, that he will never let you down. What you want, may not always happen, but maybe its for the best. Everything happens for a reason. You just always need to keep your faith because without faith it is impossible to please Him. What are some opinions & thoughts on this topic? CHRISTIANS only please!!!!! Also, does anyone have any good bible verses about things happening in Gods time?

It is a dialogue between Kongfuzi and one of his beloved disciplies, as related by Chuang Tzu/Zhuangzi.

Penny for your thoughts?

[ The Sages of old first strengthened their own character before they tried to strengthen that of others. Before you have strengthened your own character, what leisure have you to attend to the doings of wicked men? Besides, do you know into what virtue evaporates by motion and where knowledge ends? Virtue evaporates by motion into desire for fame and knowledge ends in contentions. In the struggle for fame men crush each other, while their wisdom but provokes rivalry. Both are instruments of evil, and are not proper principles of living.]

I recently went crabbing and was unsure how to cook them. My mom says you have to keep them alive and then drop them into boiling water. This seems crazy. Why do you have to cook them like that? How can you buy them in the store frozen if you have to do it this way?
