People often ask if they can borrow one of my school assignments so they can copy my answers. I don't want people to cheat off of me like that. Also, I am sometimes asked if I can go hang out with a person that I don't like. How can I say "No" politely in these situations?

I have seen so much bad calls today and I am so sick of the NFL. They have their favorite teams and screw the rest of the teams in the league. I wish the NFL would punish the ref and his crew for bad calls but they are a bunch of paid-off people.

Sadly, Dave was born without ears, and though he proved to be successful in business, his problem annoyed him greatly.

One day, he needed to hire a new manager for his company, so he set up three interviews.

The first guy was great. He knew everything he needed to know and was very interesting. But at the end of the interview, Dave asked him, "Do you notice anything different about me?" "Why, yes, I couldn't help but notice that you have no ears," came the reply. Dave did not appreciate his candor and threw him out of the office.

The second interview was with a woman, and she was even better than the first guy. But Dave asked her the same question: "Do you notice anything different about me?" "Well," she said stammering, "you have no ears." Dave again got upset and chucked her out in a rage.

The third and final interviewee was the best of the bunch, he was a young man who had recently earned his MBA. He was smart. He was handsome. He seemed to be a better businessman than the first two put together. Dave was anxious, but went ahead and asked the young man the same question: "Do you notice anything different about me?" Much to his surprise, the young man answered, "Yes, you wear contact lenses, don't you?" .................Dave was shocked and realized this was an incredibly observant person. "How in the world did you know that?", he asked. The young man fell off his chair laughing hysterically and replied, "Well, it's pretty hard to wear glasses with no ears!"

I have a 2 inch gourami and his tail is turning clear and he looks sick, none of his fin is missing, his whole body is not missing anything. Now a small spot around his eye is turning white. None of my other fish have this just the gourami, i recently for some unknown reason lost my 2 other red gourami and dont know why. I have two big white gouramis that are doing great. Any ideas. Water levels are all awesome, its a 55 gallon tank with heater, dual filter with media in it.

Okay all of my daughters are very well let's just say pretty & into fashion. Well my 12 y/o daughter (her name is Scarlett) is different than the other girls. She is way into more of a runway fashion. All of my other girls like to look cute & be comfortable, but Scarlett wants to wear clothes like the runway models. Sexy & "sophisticated" (aka skanky). I have held her back from wearing these types of clothes at all since she was 9. Since she is still "dedicated" to getting to wear some of it should I just let her? She wants to wear high heels, I bought her 2 very tasteful not high at all heels yesterday. (they are brown & black) Should I just give them to her & let her wear them? They were $50 each but her older sister will probaly end up wearing them (they are the same size). I don't want her in any of those skanky clothes, but I bought her a cute little dress that I thought looked similiar to what the runway models were wearing. It was only like $20. It's very cute! Trent dilfer stinks!! right now im watching the game and he sucks!! WHat happened to the team that was gona go big in 07??? the GM ( general manager) why did he let go of norv turner?? and most of all WHY DO THEY SUCK !!! I know the defense is good but the offense and the Coach Mike nolan I dont like what they are doing with the team this year can i have some opinions??

If you've done or do this, do you explain how your understanding of the verse relates? If not, how come? The reason why I ask is because I see a lot of answers in which there are a couple verses and thats it.

I find this as annoying as a copied-and- pasted wiki page for an answer. Does anyone else?

Let me just say this before I continue, I don't find the Bible itself bothersome. It's annoying when some use it to back up their beliefs and doesn't put their understanding of it into their own words.

I mean, the Bible is not self-explanatory, if it was, there wouldn't be such a disagreement on the content of it today. There could be many interpretations to a verse. So why do you believe some Christians don't explain their thinking further than the scriptures they decide to use? Thanks:-)
