I need help writing a speech.
I have no ideas on what to write.
I want it to be semi-funny; or grab their attention in some way.
We have to read our speeches like the newscasters do; with the telepromps (i think thats what it is called.)
So it will be broadcasted to the whole school
(of my grade level.)
Any ideas?!

an Enduro race with water, soap and 350 smashed pumpkins on the track?

I did last nite...400 lap (200 each direction). Field started with 24 cars on 1/3 asphault banked track. It ended with only 13 cars. Great Race! Kinda like the race today with all the wrecks?

As a frequenter of the common Internet, I've run into many arguments about Windows and Linux. Most of them were Linux users bashing Windows for various things, with no rebuttals allowed. The rest were Windows users doing the same to Linux.

ok theree is this guy (of course). and we were "talkin" earlier this year then we stopped then we tried again but he told me he couldnt be with me cuz he didnt wanna hurt me and i could do better. ((he also was like "ima regret forever i couldnt be man enough for u)). so now...its sumthin about him that i cant let go. so i tried talkin to him again. and i told him how i felt. and he said sumthin about when we were talkin before we went on seperate pages. and so i asked him did he care for me..he asked me what did i think. i said no he told me that was a negative..but he didnt look at me the whole time...so yesterday he told me he was gonna call me so we could talk and i waited up for him but he never called. i texted him like 4 times and he replied once...so i asked him..was i wastin my time carin for him and he texted back "idk" so i asked him y..and he didnt reply....i care for him so much but im about to just say **** u..and move on.

Thanksgiving is around the corner, and Christmas is not too far behind. I am eagerly wanting to smoke a turkey for the holidays. I either plan to choose (in order of preference) between apple, cherry, or maple. Not so much hickory. In any case, I am oblivious how to pick the wood.

Does it have to be kiln-dried, "seasoned" or "green": low or high moisture? I do plan on pre-soaking my wood. But I wouldn't know if green wood produces a better tasting smoke than a moisture free kiln-dried wood.

Also, is it okay to use wood that has has bark, or must it come from the heart? I was told that using bark produces bitter smoke, then again another source says that it doesn't matter because over-smoking is what caused the bitterness.

This is in regards to those particular woods I'm interested in. Unless someone has a conviction to use otherwise, please do tell. Thanks in advance!
