Hi,
The long way to do this is to find the prime factors of the two numbers; then the product of the factors with the highest exponents (do not repeat a factor) is the LCM.
21=3*7
35=5*7
LCM = 3*5*7
Seven appears twice in the factoization, but remember that we don't use repeats.

So, what's the short way? Use a TI-83 Plus or TI-84 calculator.
a) Press MATH, move to highlight NUM, move the cursor down to lcm( and press ENTER.
b) Enter the numbers so that you entry looks like this:
lcm(35, 21). Press ENTER and the LCM will be displayed.
