I'm a white man and I'm not afraid of Hillary. I have absolutely no problem with a strong woman in politics or business. In fact, I think they can bring a fresh perspective that may be good.

I can't say I would want to date a woman like Hillary because I don't find that level of assertiveness to be an attractive trait in women. I don't think I could give any kind of reasonable explanation for this, but that's the way it is.

I'm not frightened of Hillary per se. It's all the powerful people behind the scenes that she is a figurehead for.

Do you honestly believe that the president of the United States makes many valid decisions of their own free will?

I suppose the most corrupted are the most ruthless, which in turn makes them the most successful.

Ruling the country is an ugly business. No one represents the ideas of the people anymore.

Why Are White Men So Afraid? you added Hillary Clinton to the question, and that merely muddles the issue. Answer the first part and the second is easy.

I don't "hate" her. I honestly don't really like any of the canidates. Obama might be good. In my experience, I have noticed black men tend to be more fair to white men on black and white issues than actual white men. Besides Obama is mixed so he might see both sides of the issue. Who knows?

I do think it will be sad if Hillary is the first female president. I think her and her husband have done some shady things, more so than most politicians. Look who Former President Clinton hangs out with... Bush Sr. That ought to tell you something.

I think it's sad someone like this is likely to be our first female President. Yet, these days it doesn't surprise me.

It's not smart women; there are plenty of those in power within the Republican party. It is Hillary's disdain for the Constitution, her communist background, and the fact that the Clinton administration was nearly the most corrupt in the history of the USA that scares me. I'd still like to see Professor C. Rice run and Republicans would support her. She is a very smart woman.

White and black. Woman or Man has nothing to do with it. I voted for Alan Keys in the 2000 primary. He is black by the way. Women? Throw Condi or Liz Dole in the race then maybe I could find a candidate to support.

That's a bit of a generalization.

However, yes, there is a certain amount of castration complex for guys who would just be beginning to realize that there is a woman who is far more powerful than they are.

For most men, that has been true for a long long time, but it hasn't been so in-your-face as when the President of the US is female.

People who think things are going to be significantly different because of gender need only look at Margaret Thatcher to realize that gender is far less of a determiner than liberal/conservative, etc.

It's a woman. Some men and some women can't get it through their heads that it's the most qualified person that should run the Country. Go Hillary!!!!

She's white, she's wise, and she's a woman.
If old Bill managed to get inflation below lecturn level, Hillary needs to get the families white's whiter than white.
Oil her up, or grease her up, politics is purely about power and oil these days.
Follow the buffalow.
