I have a 1985 Buick Lesabre and I drove it around and everything was fine and I parked it and went back later it wounldnt back up. What can I do about that or what is the problem?

Just wanting an interesting self defense weapon idea other than the typical mace,personal alarm,strobe light answers...live in Chicago,Il and handguns and stunguns are illegal, and don't wish to own anyway...I almost want to walk around with a chainsaw or mallot, I live around alot of creeps in this area of the city...moving will be an option one day,and that doesnt promise anything either,thanks anyway

Hey, guys....

Well, I have this guy friend that I just REALLY like. But, the way he acts around me is just so...weird.

One day, he wanted me to sit by him in every class, and when I finally did, he kept asking me if I liked anyone. He also asked me if I was "his boo." He always said hi to me, too.

On another day, he doesn't even agknowlege me, and ignores me the whole day. The one time I say "hi" and he answers back saying, "you know, I'm not always my happy, jolly self Chelsea," in an annoying way.

Does he like me? Or does he think of me as just a friend.... I need your help please!

Are you implying that anything that is functionally complex must be a product of design? If the answer is Yes, then is the mind of God functionaly complex? Does it have an order or a structure. Or is it a random and unoranized? A cosmic stew of atoms and molecules bouncing off eachother? In lamens terms is God an intelligent being?

If you agree that the mind of God is functionally complex, then would not the mind of God need a creator?

now think that she was totally lying to me. The cat wont come near me. She is 3 1/2 years old and wont come to me or anything. She is an inside cat and has toys and all she could want. She will meow and when I go to play with her or give her attention she just runs away. She wont let me even get close enough to pet her. I love her but it seems to be so so much work and no enjoyment at all. I want to have a pet that will be a bit of fun and I am thinking that she was abused at some point. I just think that after 6 months shouldnt she be used to me by now? it just doesnt seem normal to me. I want to get rid of her and feel that I have been patient enough. I find absolutely no enjoyment in having her and dont know where to get rid of her. I find myself going to bed at 9 pm so I can shut her up.. She wont meow when the lights are off... What to do??????

I think dog fighting and rooster /c*ck fighting is cruel just as many people do, BUT yet we will lure 18 year olds right out of high school to go to war in Iraq for the big oil companies and defense contractors, even though our lawmakers say that 18 year olds are too young to make the choice to smoke tobacco or drink whiskey. It is legal to become a porn actor at age 18 which is FAR too young to make that choice in my opinion. I mean they are not smart enough be trusted with cigarettes or alcohol right, so how can an 18 year old be mature enough to choose to be in porn movies? They pay through the nose for car insurance because they are too immature right?
Campaign contributions from the porn industry, hollywood, and large companies involved is what it is all about isn't it? Am I wrong? Men can beat eachother's heads in at boxing. We can imprison baby calves from birth to death in dark barns for tender veal. Look up what is done to get veal and tell me that is not evil as hell.

I've known him for about 6 weeks and we see each two or three times a week. The second week of knowing me, he blew me a kiss, then said, "just kidding". Since then, we've gotten a lot more comfortable with each other, and had a couple of good laughs together. When I called him on club business, he hung up with, "Goodnight, get some sleep." The problem is, I can't tell if he's just being nice or if he likes me, so I want to encourage him by dropping some hints of my own. Help im afraid to fight someone i know i can beat up, he challenges me in a fight in school and I knew I could beat him then I suddenly became nervous and didn;t want to fight, when I went home I changed my mind and thought that I would fight him but when I went to school the next day I was scared again!! How come Im afraid to fight someone I know I could defeat? HOw do I overcome this?? Also I train Muay Thai for about 6 months now and the guy who want's to fight me probably doesn't even have a fighting experience....

Before i wasn't afraid to fight my classmates about 2 years ago I challenged a friend to a fight then I lost... Maybe that's is the reason I get afraid???? HElp me please
