Northern Michigan. It is absolutely gorgeous. The Lake Michigan coast, especially around Petoskey, is the Hamptons of the midwest. More billionaires then any other place in the Great Lakes region - except Chicago. They come from all over the country because they know that it is the best place to live.
The summers are perfect. Low humidity, average temp in the 80s. Fresh water lakes that are more like seas. No allergies. Plenty to do.
The falls in Michigan are better then anywhere else in the country. Mild with gorgeous colors.
The winters are harsh but fun. You can snowmobile for miles and miles. There are plenty of ski hills, the best in the midwest. It is absolutely perfect and the harsh economy in Michigan hasn't hurt this region as much as the rest of the state.

Next Spring I am moving to Hilton Head South Carolina. I am an Author and need the solitude and quiet. The Ocean has a way to relax your mind and ease away a rough day. I need this environment to be creative within my writing.

Seattle, Washington.
Why? Beautiful surroundings, close to Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks, Close to Vancouver, mild winter weather, plenty of rain to keep things green, and last but not least, Pike Place Market.

I used to live in Mississippi,
then one day a big wind came
&
blew our house away,
we had a chance to move
to this magical place,
I had only dreamed about...
We moved to Houston, Texas.
I would not want to live
anywhere else, but here.
Texan by Choice,
Not by Birth!

I would go wherever my Thomas G is. Well, maybe not Florida or Georgia (only if I REALLY had to, but I want him to know I would suffer and maybe stab myself if I had to live there). But anywhere else, yeah!!!

Florida or California. Near the beach. Why? Because I could go swimming and to the beach every day! =]. I love it there.

Well with my bills, I think I will stay right here. But Blue (the cat) wants to move to beach front property. He says it would be a giant cat box. Cats are funny they like that fishing and sand.
