I know there are some verses in the Bible that say women should keep their mouths shut and receive guidance from men, or their husbands. but what about in our culture now, are women still supposed to just "keep their mouths shut"?

I also know it says that women should not teach men? I don't understand really. Is it okay for us to teach a women's sunday school class, or even children? I guess I just don't understand the concept.

Include some Bible verses please.

I want to have my xbox play on both my TV screen, and my laptop screen. How do i do that? and, if i can do that, can i record it with hypercam?

I tried hooking an S-Video cord up to the laptop and TV, but it put the laptop screen image on the TV screen.

Well my dad and my mom have been married for a long time but my dad always has mood swings. My mom has been told, and she also thinks this, that he's bi-polar.

He used to leave when I was little and when I finally saw them fighting my dad left, and I chased his car in the rain (I know sounds cliche huh?) Well i did. I was like 7. Whenever they get into fights they always yell and my dad will sometimes curse at my mom saying she's an *** or w/e. but he doesn't curse a lot.

I always get upset and usually cry when they fight because he likes to have control, and plays mind games.
My mom usually has to ask for money from him and he ALWAYS gets mad. Me and my mom always had to watch what we say because if I say something wrong he can get really mad, and defense. It's been going on for several years.

Is this emotional abuse? (I feel like it is but idk?)

I hang out with my guy cousins and play foot ball, baseball, basketball and videogames. i own possibly every gaming console except ps3 xb360. i wear basketball shorts a lot. i don't feel comfortable around a whole group of girls and i hate makeup and the color pink! my mom gets mad at me because i dont dress like a girl a lot. i get dirt all over me and i spend all of my time with my dad at a farm he works at.

I thought this would be perfect since, this will be the first home for each of them....He just finished college and got an apartment, and she lived with her parents up until the wedding. So its not like they have all the necessities in the home. Well, in my mail this morning was a letter to pick up a package. I was horrified to find that it was the gift that I had sent my friend. It had a letter attached that said we would much rather have money. Please return and send us a gift card or cash. The gift was $80 plus tax plus shipping. After recieving it back, I'm glad I didn't attend. Should I return it and send them cash?

For months he's been getting on me about how i'm"not working"I finally snapped at him ,and said why the hell would you make such assumptions when you don't even know anything about my private life?He Said he was just joking and he had to apoligize to me,after i pestered him about it.I asked him if he heard about it frosomebody about 20 times and he said no that it was his own conclusion he came to.In a joking manner.He said to lighten up and i take things too seriously.It's frustrating how hard i work at things,keeping in shape and other aspects,and other things that are hard work that i devote my time to,and he him knowing that,would have to make a comment like that.We kinda smoothed things over,because he didn't want me to blow up,,but it just pisses me off that i come to a place to work out,and he (being a buddy)disrupts my rhythm,he said he meant nothing malicious by it.He's also a musician like i am,so we definitely have that in common.however.he's in his late 50's and i'm 23.I'
