My best friend is getting married and her sisters have decided that the party is going to be held in a restaurant and will be funded by all the bridesmaids (the sisters are the maids of honor). The shower is going to cost $118 each, and we are also each expected to each come up with a game to play and provide a gift for the winner of the game also. Seeing as I'm already spending so much for the shower itself, am I still supposed to buy a shower gift to give to my friend on top of it?

He used to sleep through the night until he got croup about 3 mo ago. Since then he usually woke up a couple times a night. It was getting better, but then last week he started waking up every 2-3 hrs. The only way he will settle down is to nurse. I've tried all sorts of things, so he doesn't think he needs to eat every time he wakes up. I've tried his pacifier and music and lights thing and rubbing his back and cheek while in his crib still, but he just screams. I've tried rocking him and walking around with him, nothing. The only way he will stop crying and go back to sleep is when I break down and let him nurse. Once he is asleep I tried letting him sleep with us, which usually makes him sleep longer, but didn't work this week. His dad has even tried the same things, thinking it was maybe just me, but same thing, I ended up having to let him nurse. Is this maybe just a growth spurt or is this going to continue until I change something? Any help is appreciated.

Our individual life is governed by our perspective, is it not? So what's with all the stupid people out there trying to crush my dreams in order of pursuing theirs? They will tell me something doesn't exist, or I can't do that, but that's their opinion! Not mine. Tell me your story it can be small or big, it does not matter. Just something that makes you smile because God took that time to prove to he is there.

Tonight I had a small experience with God but it means a lot to me. I believed in God but my faith started to stray and the devil was trying to pull me back. Though I have been thinking for the past week I don't want that faith to leave me. Though I didn't know what to do.
So tonight I turned on the TV and it was a Christian channel. There were these two guys talking. These two men were friends. One of the men was asking the other questions about his life. I was just wondering you know what is going to be the end result of this show. I listen for a little while longer and then a commercial came on. I sat at my computer chair. I looked at a few things on my computer. Then I suddenly heard the phone ring. It was a friend of mine. I began talking about just what was going on in my life. Nothing important. I heard the TV again.

Im 14, so I grew up playing the Playstation and the Nintendo 64. Im wondering, did you ever have the urge to go back and play past games? I used to LOVE wrestling, I wanted to be a wrestler, watched wrestling every single night it was on, got the merchandice, everything you could think of. I was born n 92, so I started watching in 96, my favorite wrestling times are from then until 99, now I think there are to many story lines going on.

Anyway, the games I used to play are WWF Warzone, WWF, Attitude, WCW Thunder, WCW/nWo Nitro, all of the Smackdown! series (my favorite is Here Comes The Pain) and WCW Mayhem and WCW Backstage Assualt. I recently bought WWF Warzone and WCW Mayhem because those are two of the hardest to find. Im wanting to get all the games I listed, oh and dont let me forget WWWF Wrestlemania and WWF No Mercy. Is there anything I left out that I should get? Thanks.

do you let other cars in? or do you get road rage? if you do, do you swear at your self and starting jumping around in the car or swear at other people? or do you just take your time and let the world pass you by?

my husband pulled out in front of a bus once and when the bus beeped his horn he stook his head out of the window and shouted a lot of abuse!!
Another time (this is the truth 100%) we were driving up this street when we let this flash car go, he didnt wave his hand to say thanks and my husband was going mad girating in the car when my daughter piped up "hey isnt that our doctor" it was so funny, he hasnt been able to look him in the eye since!!

I think mine is fractured, but I am debating whether or not to go to the doc. I've read that there isn't much they can do for it other than tell you to rest and prescribe pain killers. I already have vicoprofen for a back problem.

So, does anyone think it's necessary that I see a doctor?

(NO its not from my partying as I really do not party, I am a home body, YA addicted, recluse.)
I get this HORRIBLE Toothache on Friday Night, it lasts till Sunday Night, I woke this morning (Monday) and it is TOTALLY GONE!!!
I mean it was so bad I was popping vicodin like candy and crying like a old man!!! ( I think Old Men moan in private, not cry out loud, get it?)
So all weekend long I'm trying to find a weekend dentist, of which there are none, I have to wait till Monday.
Why does this happen, WHY!!!

I TOOK A FMLA AT WORK AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT WILL EXPIRE AFTER 14 WEEKS OF APPLYING FOR IT. NOW IM ALSO WAITING FOR MY WORKMANS COMP CASE TO BE DENIED OR ACCEPTED, BUT IN THE MEAN TIME ALL MY TREATING DR'S STATE THAT I CAN'T BE RELEASED TO WORK YET..I HAVE GIVEN MY EMPLOYER THE DR' NOTES EXCUSING ME FROM WORK, BUT I WAS TOLD IF I EXHAUSTED MY FMLA I WOULD BE TERMINATED...NOV 1ST IS THE LAST DAY OF MY FMLA..CAN I BE TERMINATED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE DR NOTES?
