Im not afraid of love it is the wonderful thing in the world. many people were afraid to love because they were afraid to be hurt by their loved ones

I am no longer afraid of love. But I was once. I was afraid because of the power that love delegates to the other person, and how much power you yourself have, not only to continue a relationship but to end it and crush that person inevitably. Pain is a terrible thing. But the "risk" of love, finding it and having it being felt back, is well worth any past pain.

of course.. i mean, love is not something you really have a power over. and when we aren't in control of something, we are afraid, that's human. love is this weird feeling, that makes you vulnerable, but makes you feel so good at the same time. we are afraid of it, because we never totally understand it, we liveit, and thats'the most important . But not understanding things frightens us also, human nature again, i guess.

It's not the fear of LOVE, it's the fear of the PAIN that often comes with it. Having a fight hurts. Breaking up hurts. Finding out the other person doesn't or no longer reciprocates my feelings hurts...
