like buy it down in oregon and i live in washington so bring it to washington

If taxes are paid at the time of the transaction, no.

If you are not an Oregon resident, there may be a way for you to keep all of your receipts and file for a refund. This would have to be specifically allowed by state law.

If you purchase something in a state which has a lower tax rate than Washington's, you owe Use Tax on that item. Since Oregon has no sales tax, this would apply to anything purchased in Oregon to be used in Washington (not resold).

That would depend on what the "something" is. If it's something that has to be registered, like a car, then you'll have to pay the sales tax if you just bought it. Most states have use tax laws that apply to other items also, but they are often not enforced. PA and NJ have started cracking down on out-of-state and online cigarette purchases.

the tax issue only applies in the state where you purchased it. it doesn't matter where you use it.
