I work in the states, but I live in Canada. It's killing me. My bills are the same, but I'm bringing home less and less. I'm a nurse. Do I go back to Canada for a job where they are paying more, or do I stick it out and wait for the pendulum to swing?

Hello everyone.

English is my second language so when I came across this term it sounded sorta confusing. A quick google search would get you results like 'Color Me Kubrick' (movie), color me beautiful, color me frog or color me egypt. And I was wondering

A) what it meant and
B) how it's used

because I can't really see a pattern here.


Any detailed explanation (including origins) is much appreciated

My brother is experiencing palpitations of the heart. It's been going on for the last 5 days or so. He only feels it after 1pm and it happens at rest and during work as a sales clerk. He's not overly stressed, but is a little stressed about making enough money. He's experienced this before when he took caffeine pills a few years ago but made sure not to take caffeine recently. He doesn't workout and I would say he's pretty lazy playing world of warcraft most of the day when he's not working 30 hr/week. His heart will skip a beat a few times a minute or more during the worst times, but not usually that often. He said it's been getting worse. He doesn't have health insurance and does not want to go to the hospital unless it's a major issue. He wants to wait to see if it will get better on its own. It kept him from sleeping, that's when we talked about it, and now he's going to try sleeping again. I don't know what to do about the situation.

The past couple weeks I have been extremely anxious. A sample of my brain in the last couple of hours:

1. Is my mouth less dry than usual?
2. I wonder if I am developing epilepsy?
3. Why can I never get anything done?
4. Maybe I have a brain tumor? I should google that....

My life is stresssful. I live in NYC, have a very unreliable career in the arts, and work at starbucks to support that unreliable career. My ex and I recently got back together and are trying to work things out, so yeah, there have been tons of life changes lately.
My question is, how do I cope with all this anxiety on my own until my health insurance kicks in?

I am a newly qualified teacher and have been doing some work at a school via an agency, covering for absent teachers. The agency now want to outsource their payroll to a company and charge me 4% of my earnings to cover the costs. Seems like a lot less work for them at MY cost. In the past (recently) have had issues with my mum. I have come to the point where I feel better when I don't speak to her. We initially had a huge fight when she realised I was definitely going to University so I wouldn't be giving her any more money. I thought she would be happy for me, but I think she loves money more than anything. I decided I wouldn't give her any money regardless and that she has to work. I had gone through the trouble of having her relocate and help her find a good job only for her to throw it in my face after 10 days of working and she decided to move back out of the country. Recently she was trying to blackmail me by using my sliblings, knowing that I care for them and will send money if it's to do with them, but I refused. She is now so full of anger, and snaps at everyone (major tantrums). My sister cannot take it anymore and has no choice because she is so young. She is bullying everyone including my dad. This song mentions something about making love and says the same word a whole bunch of times.. I forgot the exact word but it sounded like something with an A.
It came out before CDs, because I used to have it on a cassette tape. On the same tape was Slide, Slide, Slippity Slide. There was another cool song on there but I forgot what it was called. I remember it sounded like the guy was saying something about a rhino.
(I know all of this sounds stupid, but I was only 5 or 6 when I last heard these songs.)
