popularity of the president, and the war, have dwindeled to amaising (and sometimes record) lows in this country, so if you based it on that, no, most of us don't. we have, for some reason, taken to accepting it though. [to all of us] sorry for the annoyance.

All of this drama with Iraq and Iran started back when Clinton was still president. We can't really blame the drama on anyone. But I think Bush might have over reacted a little bit. He could have thought things through a little more, but at the same time I support him, because he is doing what he thinks is best for America, even if his ways seem to be a little off the wall. But I agree with the other person that said, " you cant put a price on freedom", that's right. I would give everything I had if it meant America could keep it's freedom, not only does it do good for the people I dont know that liver here, but also for my own children. There are other things that could cost us our freedom and it has nothing to do with the war or enemies.

I think most of us are still polite and friendly.

The bill Bush vetoed extended free government insurance to families with a combined income of 80 thousand a year. He was right to veto the bill. Insure your own children, or quit pumping them out. Take some personal responsibility for a change.

I'd consider roadside bombs enemy fire.

It took more than 5 years for the 13 colonies to come up with a constitution after the British surrendered, and they weren't nearly as fragmented as Iraq is.

Saddam murdered hundreds of thousands innocent civilians using chemical warfare. He showed no signs of stopping. Most of the country is doing well; the Kurds are certainly happy with the situation. The major problem in Iraq now is the enmity between shiite and sunni; both are jockeying for power and refuse to work together. If they'd put Country before what are really minor theological differences, Iraq would stabilize in a few months. We saw this to be true when regional sheiks recently banded together to drive out outside agitators; Falujah is a fairly safe place to live again.

Many people here both love peace and support the President.

Alot of us don't agree with what our President Bush is doin with this War. I hate Bush with a passion. Sorry to the ppl that do like Bush but he's a idiot. I wish our troops would come home so they can be with their family and friends. But don't worry even though the United states is changing doesn't mean we're not polite and kind anymore. There is alot of us out here that is still polite and kind. I know I've changed alot since this war started but I'm still polite and kind to others that I meet on the streets no matter who they are. We're all just frustrated with President Bush. Ok alot us that hate him but for the ones that like him I'm sorry but it's the truth that he's a idiot. If some of u don't like it than don't read this.

No! Hardly anyone here agrees with it, it's sick. There are things here that need that federal money much more. Just recently Bush vetoed (killed) a bill that would have set aside 35 billion dollars (nothing compared to the war spending) for HEALTH CARE for CHILDREN!!!!! It would have helped 10 million kids who currently have no health care. How wrong is that? Don't worry too much about America changing, A year from now we will have a new president and I'm quite certain the one who gets elected will have to promise to FIX THINGS. How much you can trust a politician's promise is another matter though.

I dont agree with the money spent on the war but afterall we have to support our troops who are trying to do their jobs - protect our country. I really doubt you can see anything changing in the country due to the money being spent on war. We have all the same problems no more or less than before the war. If you dont live here and are not an american than who are you to get annoyed. MYOB

No, I don't. Iraq is an unwinnable quagmire. There's no actual war going on. It's just troops patrolling in and around Baghdad and other large cities. Most of the troops that have been killed or injured were blown up by roadside bombs, not from enemy fire. We are now nearly five years in and there is no end in sight. There should be attempts at political solutions, not military ones because they are not working.

It started before the war before the elections even, when John McCain was doing good against him but a rumor arose that McCain had an illegitamate black baby. Needless to say... Then it appears there was yet questions over the 2000 vote. That's where we missed it.

certainly, which would be on the threshold of the excellent selection. in accordance to the U.S. State branch, the Vietnam conflict cost 111 billion greenback, which could be 111 thousand million, as 1000000000 equals 1000 million. yet that parent does not comprise veteran's reward and pastime on debt.

The fact that I have several relatives over in iraq at this very moment isn't fun at all. I hate war, and the troubles it causes. Our president needs to grow up and see what he's doing to our country... seriously, I don't think it's worth it.
