It depends on the situation. If it involves hurting people or animals, my emotions take precedence. That's the hero complex I have as well as my compassion for others.
In affairs of the heart, emotions always get the best of me even though my mind tells me to be careful. That's the hopeless romantic in me.

My emotions take over when I am hurt, when I see someone that is sad, seeing a child that is being abused, when I get frustrated with something, life!!

When I hear are think about all the children that are being abused or who are addicted on drugs. There are some things that even a "bad a$$" like me can't handle.

in so many instances. when you realize that its all you have, they can be your shield and if youre not careful, they can also be your worst enemy.
