Yes sometimes. Mostly they are elderly people, which is good because that means they were able to lead good long lives. However, I did see one person in there who was a kid that had gone to my school and was in one of my classes. Very sad, never want to see a kid in that section of the news paper.

That is the first thing I do when I get my newspaper. I have even asked friends what part of the paper they read first and they said the obituaries. It's funny that you said that years ago you used to read the marriages because I did the same thing and then as time moved on I read the births. Now I've graduated to the obituaries. We all do it and you're not alone.

Not anymore because my parents (my father) is almost there, and I don't want to think about it. It makes me so sad. I did read the obituaries after 9/11 and read all about the people who were so senselessly murdered. And for what?

yes i do because i world like to know about their family, their life.( im not nosy)
everyone has a story to tell and when they are dead some of it turns up in their orbituary.
most important reason is that no matter how much that person was not famous, we know how much tthey meant to their loved ones.
