This guy used to give an eye contact to me since 2-3 yrs. I approached him and we r friends now. But at first he hesitated to talk to me..i dont know why. Then he talked nicely. My problem is....sometimes he talks very nicely,...he makes me laugh...he shows that he cares.. But sometimes he gives very to the point answers to me...and converse as if hez just doing a formality. Not only this...sometimes he completely ignores me.I m so confused becoz of his mood swings. What do u think...why is he behaving this way??Are they really mood swings or do u think hez just being nice?Should i ask him directly whether he really wanna talk to me or not?

I was really surprised to see sites so adamantly against adoption. I personally can see why adoption could be a bad decision in some cases, but having so many positive adoption experiences in my life (myself, other members of my family, friends, friends children etc), I don't understand why adoption overall could be a horrible thing.

10 years ago i was diagnosed with severe clinical bi-polar depression,i have been closely monitered by my doctor since then.i lost my family,my friends,my house,my business,my money and my marriage ended in divorce.i have recovered up to the point of basic functioning.my intellect was not affected but i can no longer endure any pressure , i suffer daily anxiety and sporadic panic attacks.the MAIN POINT is that i have no desire whatsoever to start working again or dating,cant even open up the businness section of a newspaper.are these the after effects of my disease,is this what it has left for me?

Seeing as so many sceptics seem so sure that "An inconvenirnt truth" is flawed, why has the public education system not been taken to court for showing it, as in the UK?

My gf is having a wild night as we speaks. It is her friend's birthday so she went out for dinner and having a karokee night , it is 2am already. I spoke to her and she is quite drunk. She even mention about this guy "Alex" is living close by, and she said she will call him even at 2 am.

Her behavour bothers me........I asked her to go home, she said she will spend the whole night. I then have no choice but to tell her be careful and take a day off work.

Would that bother you?

I am Christian and my wife is Buddhist. She argues that following Christ means learning and practicing his teaching rather than believing in him and ignoring all his teaching. All you have to do is believe in Christ and you go to Heaven. Wow, that's an excellent deal. You don't know Christ but you are a person of good moral value, kindness and compassion and still you will go to bad place because you are not Christian ?That seems very unfair.
