It doesn't say anywhere in the bible "Thou shalt not celebrate Holloween." However, it does say that we shall not participate in anything wicked. Is it okay for the church to throw a party for our children on Holloween? This is an open question and I would like to hear from any non-christians as well. However, I used to be wiccan and I know about the history of all of our holidays.

I really, really do. Did you see it this week with Seth Rogen? Oh man, it was very funny. I'm thinking of the sketch where Andy Samburg was a chef and Seth was a dog and they were playing music. Maya Rudolph looked so funny!! I don't particularly like "stoner" humor, but this time it was very good.

I have a heavy duty 100 ft extension cord and want to buy an electric power washer. I keep reading reviews that say that they can not be used with an extension cord. However, because of outlet placement, I have to. Is there a guage cord I could use?

And this is why some Christians call these others cults.

Yet, SOME Protestants in here are quick to state that NO Catholics are true Christians.
Their basis: because, they say, salvation is by GRACE alone...and Catholicism does not teach this.

So almost all of the laity in the Catholic Church believes that their works merit salvation.

However, if salvation IS by grace alone, then do you exclude these Catholics who have been poorly taught by the Catholic Magisterium because they don’t have good theology?

Does that mean salvation is by grace AND good theology?

Organizations were NOT USED! Individual prophets of God--were used. Show me ONE PLACE in scripture that has more than one prophet--a GROUP of prophets was ALWAYS FALSE!!! Look at your scriptures!!!!

Cinnamic acid and urea melt at 133 C. The melting point of an unknown is found to be 133C. When the unknown is mixed with rea, the melting range of the mixture is 120-125 C.

Is it possible to identify the sample from this information? If not, what further tests would you perform?

I'm really kind of stumped because I have a feeling it's cinnamic acid but I don't know why it went down that much....

we had been in love for seven years. we tried a lot to compromise our parents. but all plans failed. Eventually my girlfriend ended up marrying another guy chosen by her family. we convinced ourselves and finally we broke up. she went to another country. I started to accept life as it comes and started working towards building my career in business. And after 5 months since we broke my Ex comes out of nowhere and says that she wants to live with me. I am confused now.It seems that her husband never knew that she was having an affair with me before marriage. And now when he knew the relationship between me and his wife he cancelled her Permanent residentship and sent her back to India. she is the only thing i loved in my life. shall i take her with me or dump her.

The World (over which the devil reigns as the Prince of this World) and its deceptions, dainties, comforts, business, concerns, etc., is plenty enough to damn the souls of almost every man who will ever live.

You cannot rename something as ‘christian’ and do the same things as the world. Well, you CAN, but the only one that fools is you.

After reading all the bad press it"s enough to put anyone off, even for friendship, let alone a relationship.

To my knowledge i don"t know any scorpio people personally. I don"t understand how they are supposed to be a good match with cancer and pisces though, when these are gentle signs, and scorpio seems aggressive. I would have thought they would have been better matched with a sign like aries which have a firey nature, and would be able to handle the scorpio better i would have thought.

How would a cancerian or a pisces be able to handle living in fear of offending, and the repercussions from a scorpio?
