from the Marine Corps. is this a low rank for an officer to retire at? i understand if he was a "mustanger", which is a Marine who was promoted to officer from the enlisted ranks. i think retirement at 20 years for a Marine should at least me a lieutenant colonel. by the way, i seen staff sergeants retire at 20 years, to me this rank is to low for after 20 years of service. please officers and former offficers of any branch of the service respond concerning the "captain", only an O-3, retiring at 20 years

not what controls morality. Both Atheists and Christians feel good when they do something for someone else and unhappy when they wrong someone else. The fictional Bible deals largely with stories of immorality, and is unnecessary if not dangerous.
FOOTNOTE: I suppose there are a few Christians who hate people and only do good because they think it will get them to a mythical Heaven. They are exceptions.
Most Atheists and Christians are good for the same reason. It makes us happy to help someone and makes us unhappy to harm someone. (Atheists do it without that confusing fictional Bible, so I prefer their natural approach.)

SECOND FOOTNOTE: I presume that the believers and non-believers in other religions are similarly motivated.

"September sea ice was 39 percent below the long-term average from 1979 to 2000. Sea ice cover is in a downward spiral and may have passed the point of no return, with a possible ice-free Arctic Ocean by summer 2030, senior scientist Mark Serreze said."

I moved in this apartment a 1 yr back. Once I moved in I noticed that at the kitchen sink backs out water. When I complained about it they said that since I live on the 1st floor, and there are 3 floors above me and it happens because the water disposal pipe clogs up when everyone uses it. And it's not a big issue as it would never overflow. They never fixed it. However, one day I return from work to see that the living room is drowned in water. The sink had overflown, and the water that backed out smelled gross like sewage. Apartment management took the responsibility, and said that they will replace the carpet once I move out (it was only 1 month for my lease to end).
Now when I moved out and was looking for my security deposit, instead of a refund they have sent me a bill of $1400 saying that the carpet was damaged and they had to change it. I was not my my fault.
Do I take them to the court or is there some housing authority that can help resolve it? Any similar experience?

Prove that the product of all primes less than or equal to n is at most 4^n.

This is tough so I will suggest the following strategy: use induction and consider the case where n is even and n is odd separately. One case is very easy, the other is quite tricky and may require strong induction.
