My old car failed it's MOT and then died unfortunately. It was a very old car. I did kinda want to get a new one as it was very old, rusty and parts of it were going wrong. I brought another second hand car which is very nice. Hoping it will last a very long time so it can become an old classic car in the future.

But there was a lot wrong with the old one. Honest! The tranny went out, it needed new wheel bearings in the back and tranny fluid leaked all over my driveway! I wouldn't buy a new one if I didn't need to. Is it okay, now? LOL

I wanted the warranty,
of course I probably won't buy a new car for a while. That $3000 depreciation the first couple years sux.
if you are looking for a car. Get a TDI.

The TV advert was too persuasive. Actually, in the end I bought another make but it did get me thinking I should buy a new one.

My son needed a vehicle to get to work, so I bought a new truck and gave him my old one.
Against my advice, he traded it in for a car he couldn't afford, lost it and now he's walking again.
