Cell phone emergency uses
THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELL PHONE COULD DO.
There are a few things that can be done in times of
grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be
a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check
out the things that you can do with it:
FIRST Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.
If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your
mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112
and the mobile will search any existing network to
establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly
this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.
Try it out.
SECOND Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come
in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If
you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at
home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your
cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your
car door and have the person at your home press the unlock
button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end.
Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive
your keys to you.
Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,
and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote"
for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it
unlocked our car over a cell phone!"
THIRD Subject: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press
the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve
and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell
next time.
FOURTH How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the
following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number
is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it
somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can
phone your service provider and give them this code.
They will then be able to block your handset so even
if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally
useless.
You probably won't get your phone back, but at least
you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.
If everybody does this, there would be no point in people
stealing mobile phones.
And Finally....
FIFTH
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or
more for 411 information calls when they don't have to.
Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our
vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a
problem. When you need to use
the 411 information option,
simply dial: (800) FREE 411, or (800) 373-3411 without
incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell
phone now.
This is the kind of information people don't
mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.

Recently after I got home from work early, I walked into my daughters room to see if she was home yet, and I saw her and my son engaging in sexual intercourse. I quickly stopped them and sent them to their rooms, but how am I supposed to talk to them about this? She is 16 and he is 15 by the way. Sorry if the subject matter is abit disturbing but I have never dealt with anything like this before and really need some advice. Thanks

The "we" and "us" in Genesis are what are called the "Royal We", which is when a monarch refers to themselves in the plural. It is actually quite common, and has nothing to do with the Trinity.

Jews are very very strict in belief that GOD has no partners and is ONE (Singular).

Einselection seems to explain the outcomes of distinct states and the onset of classical reality. Unfortunately, there are other anomalies to take into consideration. What quantum theory best explains these anomalies? I think the Consciousness Causes Collapse Theory is incredibly interesting but highly unlikely. What are your thoughts on this theory, and do you think it displays a valid answer to the random outcomes or anomalies?

I'm in a fiction workshop class. Personally? I dislike them. I don't like the deadlines, the pressure, or anything like that (although I love reading other peoples' stories! That's fun!). Even with a great professor, I find my writing limp and forced on the page, as if I'm trying too hard to impress someone. When I write for myself, I know I'm not going to show it to anybody, and it's always better and truer than what I write for workshops. It seems that way for a lot of people, though. Why do you suppose that is? Is it pressure that makes bad writing? Or does it just depend on the writer?

1. God gives us suffering as punishment?
problems: Conflicts with the idea of an all loving God.
If you try to apply this to moral evil then you will loose free will.
2. God gives us suffering to test our faith?
problems: conflicts with our idea of an all loving God.
Apply to moral evil, loose free will.
3. God gives us suffering to help us learn, to teach us lessons?
problems: Challenges all loving God.
Moral evil-loose free will.
4. We are creatures with free will thus we will make choices that cause suffering for ourselves and others?
problems: applies only to suffering cause by moral choices.
Challenges the idea of an all loving God.
5. Nature operates according to the laws of nature?
problems: Applies to physical/mental/natural suffering and finitude. But it doesn't apply to moral choices. Does not have a God that applies to nature. God does not intervein.
Challenges the idea of an all powerful God because he does not intervien with nature.

Hi!
If a guy walks up to you, completely randomly (no previous introduction, acquaintance) and says "Hey! What high school do you go to?" is that considered 'flirting'? or is it just friendly interest?

But today another person that is owner of a rat pet too, said that it has to be amputated (whatever it was left of the tail).
Is that true, or if by now the rat is healing will be ok?

Been working on a 93 chevy with the 350. No spark. I changed the coil and checked the rotor and cap, they look ok. I think the coil is putting out spark, but I didn't have nerve enough to hold it! lol! How can I check the coil with a multi meter? What else can I check?
Thanks
