No, unless you are only looking for the material part of success.
If you are not happy, healthy or know how to enjoy what you have now, who you are now, you can be rich but that wouldn't be have found the key of success.
Learning to like money helps at least not to be afraid of (or have a heart attack after wining the lottery) or being a bad money administrator. (wasting money)
To achieve any success, first you have to have goals, and these goals have to be very specific (I want a BMW 07, blue, leather seats, and it costs $......) so now that you know what you want, then, is the planing how to do that happen. As well any goal that you want to happen you have to put times, and strategies, not just by wanting it, it will come true.
good luck :)

I think the key to success is being able to get other people to behave in ways that help you reach your goals. Liking money is common sense, and having faith in yourself as an individual is all good, but you won't get much accomplished in life without the assistance of others. Human are social and interdependent by nature.

To a very poor person success is - to be able to get every meal.
To a child success is to get the toy his/her friend has or the latest game.
To some, money is the key to success and to others Power.
To a hermit, to discover inner happiness/innate joy is the key and when s/he achieves s/he has succeeded.

The key to success is an inner drive to learn and to achieve admist variables. Money is inconsequential. It is but a mere byproduct.

That question can only be answered by you and by your measure of success. Once you have a goal for success for you, then re-ask.

It depends on what kind of success and how you measure it.
For me success was learning to like and love myself.
