You've found out that replacing parts is not the way to fix things. You have to test them to see which one is faulty. The easiest thing to do is remove the air cleaner assembly and take the coil wire off of the ignition coil. While leaning into the motor compartment to see the coil tower, crank the motor over. If there is spark from the coil tower to ground, the primary and secondary electrical parts are good. If there is no spark, you need to test the primary ignition system. Let's go through the first scenario. This would mean that you have spark available but it can't get through to the spark plugs. This is always corroded or open plug wires and/or distributor cap. Start removing plug wire ends and inspecting for rusty or blackened connections in the wire ends and on the cap connections. For the other scenarion, you will need a 12V test light. With the ignition on and the ground side of the test light connected to a good ground, touch the white wire that leads to the ignition coil. It should light with the ignition on and start blinking rapidly when the motor is turned over. If you have no light, either you have a power supply problem or the module is keeping the circuit grounded. If it doesn't blink when cranked, you either have an ignition module or pick-up coil problem inside the distributor.

RE:
93 Chevy truck with no spark?
Been working on a 93 chevy with the 350. No spark. I changed the coil and checked the rotor and cap, they look ok. I think the coil is putting out spark, but I didn't have nerve enough to hold it! lol! How can I check the coil with a multi meter? What else can I check?
Thanks

I have an 88 Chevy and the same thing happened...no spark!!! I bought a new ignition coil and nothing. The problem was the ignition control module which is in the back of the distributor where the wires are connected. Remove the cap and the module is held in place by 2 screws. You can take it to an AutoZone where they can check it for free and it cost around $40. Good luck!!

Hello, looks like you tried everything, but make sure while your turning the engine that the rotor is turning. When you need a timing chain the rotor will not turn to produce spark.

Check the module and the pickup coil in the distributor. That is often the cause of no spark.
Moisture in those areas is very damaging.

you need a friend to try this. when it is dark have a friend turn the engine over while you look at the plug wires one at a time while they are off the plug. do you see a spark? don't hold the wire with your bare hands

try your igniton control module its in the distributor under the cap and rotor and are very common as a reason these engines dont fire they run about 20 bucks and are fairly simple to replace
