the most opinionated, unforgiving and uncompasionate towards others, especially if others don't necessarily believe in everything they do? Is this not sort of hypocritcal?

In one of the premier's scene Mayer asked for the credentials of the gynecologist who examined her and told her that she was approaching menopause.

Mayer said: "Can I check those diplomas 'coz I just want to make sure that they're not from some med school in the Philippines."

I'm in an unhappy marriage. I married her a year and half ago. At the time we got married she had two kids: 2 year old and a new born (now a 3 year old and a 17 months old).

Everyday is a constant struggle. There is no happiness left. We fight endlessly. I started having thoughts of leaving few months ago. The more we go in this marriage, the more I realize there is no future.

The only thing that keeps me is that my wife and her two kids are dependent on me. She doesn't work, but she gets $450 a month child support for one of the kids. If I leave, they got no else to support them.

I confessed my feelings to my wife. She's very hurt. She refuses to be rational and rather be emotional about it. She's almost begging for me to stay. I told her that I wouldn't leave before making sure her the kids are ok.

She got a family that used to support her but she doesn't have a healthy relationship with them any more. If I stay I'm miserable. If I leave I'll die of guilt.

Serious answers please

How come the Hubble Space Telescope, being capable, can photograph objects billions of lightyears away from Earth with great clarity and detail (stars, mok globules, etc.), while it can only get 'this close' when photographing Mars, or Europa or other 'much closer' objects in our own backyard?

Why even the need to send orbiting crafts to these nearby objects to get an - even then - not so sharp images?

Or maybe NASA is not providing the public with such 'ala google-earth' photos of our neighboring planets?

(*head scratch*) Refractive problems, hyperopia perhaps?

LADIES, these are our rules!
Please note.. these are all numbered "1 "
ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Sunday sports - It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!

1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1.. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 days.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.

My computer has been acting funny lately. Sometimes I will get one pop up and even if I am not on a site, maybe like 3 times a week. Then once in awhile my cd-rom tray just opens on its own, sometimes it sounds like its going to open and the light goes on but it doesnt open. Sometimes my computer will freeze for a few seconds for no reason even if I am not on a site. I did a scan with AVG, Mcafee, Antivir, and nothing. I also scanned in safe mode and turn off system restore and nothing. I had something almost similar once and it was a trojan, found it, and deleted it and move on.
Do you think I have a trojan or something else? If I do what can I do to get it out bc the scans are not working.
Thanks.

in the New Zealand police force only certain areas of the force have guns and the mainstream officers that we see every day only have batons, taser guns have been on trial for a year and in the future may be used as an alternative rather than bringing in standard issue guns for all officers.
What are some facts about the taser gun and are they used often do they work in apprehending people? are they safer than a gun? opinions please thanks.....

I smoke a pack to 2 packs a day.
I light my first cig within 10 minutes of when i wake up and seem to smoke about every 15 to 30 minutes all day every day.
I want to quit so bad and have tried the patch for the full session twice, it did not help me with the withdrawl and cravings.. I have not tried the gum but imagine it wouldnt work if the patch didnt work..
Does anyone know of anything stronger.. a perscription medication or something that helps people who are SO hooked by ciggs..
And if your going to leave me comments like "Your an idiot for smoking" Dont bother.. i already have established that..
thanks anyways..
but i need real advice.. its doing a number on my lungs and iv stopped excersizing due to breathing problems. also some mornings my underarms and lungs and artery in my neck hurt very bad..
please let me know of anything you know to stop smoking or any testimonials would be great. thanks

I'm kinda new to riding the bus in the Seattle area, and I've invested in a bus pass. But it's the $1.25, off peak PugetPass, and I ride the bus during peak hours some days. So, what do I do? Will the pass still be valid even though it's not the right fare amount?

Problem: √(x+2)-x=0, Note: x+2 is in the square root, -x isn't.
I added x to the right hand column, then squared both √(x-2) and x to get rid of the square root.

This gave me: x+2=x²
I subtracted x and subtracted 2 to get: 0=x²-x-2
I factored to get 0=(x-2)(x+1)
This gave x=2, x=-1

When I redistribute 2 and -1 into the equation -1 doesn't work, but 2 does, so x=2. Is this the final solution?
