they just got divorced recently. Her name is on the home property. Now it said on the divorce all property settlement has to be settled in one month. But does that apply to her because her name is on it and is it hers no matter what and she can take half the house when she wants?

Hi, I'm Phil.

I'm a rather young (15 yrs) Christian, and I have questions about JW's and their views on blood transfusions.

"Which of you shall have an *** or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?"
(Luke 14:5)

Does this mean that you are to disregard minor, relatively "trivial" rules in the Bible in cases of dire need?

What about blood transfusions? Shouldn't the rule about "eating blood" be disregarded when a person's LIFE is in danger?

Doesn't it seem that if this were true, God would have little regard or care for a person's life?

Wasn't the Salvation of Mankind brought about through the shedding of the Blood of Jesus? Are we not to remember him by symbollically "drinking his blood" during communion?

And does putting blood in your vessles really count as "eating"?

Just wondering...

All I hear from the left is whining about the rich. "They have it so easy... they just inherit everything.... they keep getting richer... and blah blah blah...."

When did it become the status quo in this country to be penalized for being successful?

"The rich should pay more" (or as they like to justify it.. their fair share". Really? Is that equality? That the rich pay a tremendously higher tax than the middle class or lower class?

The Dems are trying to propose that the Mortgage interest tax be repealed for those with homes larger than 4,200 sq. ft.!!! Shame on you for your success!

I am not rich..... yet! I am working towards it. Maybe I don't even get there... But what you people are basically saying is that you will never make it so punish those that do! Class envy is out of control! The "entitlement" movement is out of control.

I thought you lefties just want equality? To clue you in though, equality only means the equal opportunity. You have that.

Some people I know will not give up and accept the fact that I don't believe some of the things they do. I was at a dinner party the other night and basically the whole night was one big lecture, so I left early a little pissed off. When I ask him to do something for the kids he always says "why don't you? I've done more for them than you ever could"

I graduated from college in 95 and am still trying to pay back my student loans. I lost my job couple of years ago so I got a forbearance on my loan until I got back on my feet. I can't eat raw apples, carrots, or cherries - makes my throat really itchy and swells up. I can eat them if they are cooked or processed, but fresh causes a reaction. Sometimes raw celery and broccoli will bother me too, but not as much..

It seems to be sort of common, I know of a few other people who have this too... what is it? Is there a name for it?? Can anything be done to get rid of it??

If Bush was in charge during WW2.....the war would of took 25 years to win(if we would of won), it would of took 50 years to control Berlin, and he would of cut taxes for the rich to make them feel good.

Thank God FDR was in control, and not George Bush.
