Sometimes the most off board happening can be the best memories later on. I thought my boyfriend was joking when he walked into my office and asked me,"when you going to marry me honey?" There were about 10 of his friends standing around so... I responded " will tomorrow be too soon?!" He about had a cat, jumped up and ran out hollering, of my gosh, I don't have a ring!" I turned around and all his friends were standing there cracking up! Then they told me was serious! Needless to say, when he returned with the ring, an hour later, I refused it.... until he took me for a nice candlelight dinner and proposed properly, without the audience! We were married 32 years and everyone in the company told about that proposal for years to come! If you love him it doesn't matter how or where he proposes.

I would be delighted, even if I had to fish my mayo covered engagement ring out of a big Mac.Unless he owns the franchise, it probably means he's not a millionaire. But if you love him its all good. Especially if he has red hair and his name is Ronald.

you mean like he brought you to that spot to propose or was it like spur of the moment thing and you happened to be at mcdonald's? I would just walk away, you wouldn't find me at mcdonald's anyway....

It was impulsive. He was probably really nervous. But if you two have a history that's kind of shaky. I would say no, because his lack of romance will carry into the marriage.
