If people get offended by this, then they are obviously oversensitive weakminded individuals. I know tons of Filipino nurses, but no Filipino doctors. The doctor in question was white and American's don't like their doctors to be trained in 3rd world countries. I didn't realize Filipino's were so weak minded to let a soap opera bother them...feel sorry for them.

I've seen it in the news last night. Well, it's really offensive. The show must give a public apology to all Filipinos. I know Philippines went through a lot of scandals but who's perfect? There are also Americans who's been involved in serious scandals and anomalies.

I've seen the episode and it is indeed discriminatory and hurtful. Teri Hatcher of desperate housewives owes all the Filipinos an apology.
