I got a ticket from the police 2 years ago when I was 15 and a half. I am now 18 and I recently got my license, but when I applied for auto insurance it was 150 dollars more than usual because of the point court gave me for jaywalking 2 years ago. Did they make a mistake or can they really do that? It had nothing to do with driving! Now, I can't drive because I can't afford my insurance and they told me it'll take 3 years until it's completely off my record. I'm screwed! Anybody have any suggestions on who I should complain to or if they can really do that! It'll help a lot! thanks.

I live with my boyfriend - it has been 1 year and 8 months since we started dating but living together for the last 3 months only. Before that I was studying at uni and living on campus because of the hostel proximity with uni. I just started a job (high pay for a fresh grad), very happy with it. Thanks to the busy schedule for both of us, we have time to recuperate on weekends only - in other words, catching up with sleep. Weekends are not free from work, there may be things to do as well. Last weekend I was so tired that I fell asleep after reading part of a book that I have to (undergoing training on the job, and reading is part of it). He asked me whether I could help buy lunch, so I said half-awake that I wasn't hungry and then dozed off again. When I woke up, he had come back with packed lunch. So I suggested eating together, but he just said 'leave me alone, everyone treats me like a slave'.I cried silently outside while he took time to cool down alone in the room.

I have to throw a baby shower for my big sis on nov.3 and am pulling my hair out!! i have the cake i have the location i have the guest list. But i dont know what to do about party favors, games, or what to award winners of games. She wants a rainforest theme like mainly rainforest green and tree frogs. its for a boy. any advice will help cuz i am not good at these things to do. PLEASE HELP!!! I work casually at a Thai restuarant and have taken a liking to the food. I normally take some home at the end of my shift, but I would rather cook it fresh. My boss has given me the recipe for Tom Yum soup with Noodle for me to make but when my husband saw it had fish sauce in it - a vital ingredient - he refuses to try it.
He has been told that fish sauce is made by fisherman catching fish and leaving them in big nets over drains and the rotting oil from the fish is dripped down the drain and collected to make the sauce.
Is this true? and if it is, can I substitute soy sauce instead of fish sauce in the recipe so my husband will eat it. I don't want to offend my boss by asking her due to the language barrier.

My mother didn't want children, and her mother didn't want children, (but had them to please their friends/family)
