I can understand Hitler saying the Jews had brought about the war, but why did Chamberlain bleat about "This awful war that the Jews have forced on me?"

I can't remember where I came across it, but it seemed like a reputable source to me.

It was appeasement of Hitler that percipitated WWII. It wasn't the Jews that sold out Checkoslovakia, its was Chamberlain that had forsaken that country. Was it the Jews that invaded Poland...i think not.

WHY can you understand Hitler saying the Jews had brought about the second world war? He blamed the Jews when anything went wrong.
Pears Encyclopaedia says Arthur Neville Chamberlain,(1869-1940) the son of Joseph Chamberlain, was PM from 1937-1940 when he appeased Hitler and Mussolini with the Munich agreement of 1938. However this failed to prevent WWII and he resigned following the defeat of British forces in Norway.

I'm afraid you're rewriting history and misinterpreting the actuality:
1. Neville Chamberlain did not say anything about the Jews forcing him into war.
2. Nor would he have any grounds for such an assertion.
3. Nor did the Jews bring about the war.....they were the victims.
4. When you read your history books ask which country invaded Poland and expanded into Europe and who was the leader???

Nope. If anything the Germans forced the war on Chamberlain. After all they invaded Poland.

The quotes I've always heard are
“I believe it is peace for our time . . . peace with honour.”
“This morning the British Ambassador in Berlin handed the German Government a final note stating that, unless we heard from them by eleven o'clock that they were prepared at once to withdraw their troops from Poland, a state of war would exist between us.”
Never heard anything about he was supposed to say about Jews.

I would like authority for the statement that Chamberlain made such a comment.
