Oooh no! You just reminded me of the time I started using the computer, at the same time as actually starting to use English. (I'm from a very traditional Afrikaans background)

For the life of me I could not figure out what was meant by dot, and at. Had a very frustrated person on the other end of the phone! Very very embarassing! And had the mickey taken out of me for days! :-)
