If they had to serve their time in 'outer space' we could drain alot of resources that it costs to fund jails in America and have the prisoners do jail work that would be beneficial to Science!!! Sounds dirty, but I am serious it would raise alot of eyebrows.

he spends most of his money on booze and doesnt contribute financially. even HIS friends tell me i can do much better. my family say he's taking advantage. i enjoy being with him, we get on really well. i am starting to wonder if i am missing out on something better /less stressful. when do you decide enough's enough? how will iknow if i can "do better" if i am stuck with someone who doesnt deserve me?

They were arguing over a basketball game. Boy1 pushed the other. I saw the pushing, hurried over, and was already stepping between them when Boy2 pushed back. They probably would have kept it up because both boys were angry and yelling. The mother of the boy who "pushed back" doesn't feel he should have a detention. I told her both boys were acting in anger and even though her son didn't push first, it was not a defensive move. I was already on the scene and her son had to move forward in order to push the other boy. Both boys are in 6th grade, so it's not like they don't know better. I have a conference with the angry parent tomorrow morning, but I feel it's important to make the detention stand. Any advice would be appreciated. By the way, I'm brand new to the school, so how I handle this is especially important. Up until now, everything has been great.

I am getting a corn snake (maybe 2 depending on answers) from the same place (petsmart) [there arent any local shops near] and was wondering if i could keep them together since they have been living together for awhile. Would i need a bigger tank? I would expect to have to feed them in separate places but other than that, could they live together?

the woman was found 8 days later stuck in her wrecked car because no one took the husband seriously that she was truely missing, not just eft on her own.

How should we fix this problem so it does not happen to anyone else? If all missing person reports are taken seriously that would take 100% of the time police has.

One way is for people to record with a person/system each time they move from place to place. Any better solution?

My sister in law is a very nice, sweet person. She is also a born again Christian. I am not Christian (neither is my husband) and we are not raising our children in any religion. She keeps giving my kids Christian gifts (movies, stuffed animal that pray, books....) and it's getting a little bit old. My children are very young (2 and 4) and don't understand what religion is yet and I really don't want to start that dialogue until they are old enough to understand and think about it for themselves, not just blindly repeat what some stuffed praying bunny or talking tomato tells them about God.

Is there a polite way to ask her to stop this or should I just keep my mouth shut? I don't want to offend anyone, but they are my kids and I want to raise them my way.

I know this is a touchy topic- please no preaching about how I'm wrong. I just want to know if anyone has any ideas of how to say "No religious gifts please" without hurting her feelings or pissing her off. Thanks.

My sons husky is around 6 years old, from a different home, previous owner said he's skinny cuz of intimidation from another dog in their house, its not putting any weight on because it has constant farting and squirtting diarreah. I told my son take him to a vet cuz something isnt right. They think it will get better but its not. What can cause no weight gain, and the big D, stinky D. Im thinking parasites or worms. Maybe some kind of stomache problem? Thank you in advance for answering my question. Rick

Okay, heres the story. In 2006, my mom bought me a $400 pomeranian from one of my best friends aunt. My grandparents took me to go give the breeder her money (only $100 at the time) and she gave me my dog. She did not give me the papers on him. My mom gave her the rest of the money later within the next week or so, and she didnt give her the papers because she hadn't registered the litter yet, and said she would soon give them to her. She never did. Its been almost a year and my dog is now two. I don't even know his birthday! What do me and my mom do?
