My wife and I are wanting to take a cruise to the bahamas and mexico. We weren't sure if it was better to go through a travel agent or the actual cruise line. We found cheap tickets on expedia and other similar sites, but have never been on a cruise. Can someone please give me their experiences?

I'm 24 and I went through severe bullying when I was in grade, middle, and high school. Some of the same people who bullied me went to the same schools as I. I can't help but hurt over what happen. I try to understand and take it all in. As a child I never told about the abuse and bullying I endured at home and at school, I thought it was normal, the hurt I should have expressed then, I'm doing it now. It's like I'm making up for past hurt. I sometimes think it was my fault for letting the bullies get away with what they did, I wish I would have fought back.My question is where can I find support and help as an adult I'm still dealing with past wounds. I suffer from depression, post traumatic stress, anxiety. Anyone know of any help groups, forums, sites? Anyone went through bullying or was a bully? Let me know your story. I believe adults still need encourage, support, help sometimes because victims of bullying and abuse have their times of relapse and still secretly hurting.

If I seek the abolition of hypocrisy and use the same standard to judge the actions of Israel that I use to judge the actions of Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden or our own government how is that racist?

Aren't the people who call me a racist for not joining them in offering unconditional support to the nation of Israel because of some belief that they are god's chosen people the real racists?

Main Entry: rac·ism
Pronunciation: 'rA-"si-z&m also -"shi-
Function: noun
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination
- rac·ist /-sist also -shist/ noun or adjective

I'd like to become a Bush pilot. I'm nearly complete with my degree and I have zero piloting background except for the 2 rides I saved $$$ for with the "God, I wish I was rich so I could enjoy being a pilot" mentality. I even joined the AF because I love aviation and so far it has been only beneficial towards a "legitimate" education in a Bachelor of Arts degree and learning how to follow completely asinine technical orders designed to repair/maintain an aircraft.

Any suggestions on how to become a Bush pilot after hopefully obtaining my private pilot license?

The reason I ask is because I grew up around the Pacific Ocean. I spent time in and on it. Never was I hit with a bout of sea-sickness.

I came East and took a trip on the North Atlantic on a long distance ferry and honestly thought I was going to die.

I could not figure it out. From appearances, the Pacific is the rougher of the two. So why did the warmer, calmer Atlantic lay me low? I don't know...but I've never gone out on another long boat ride since I've been here.

i am a deep believer in God but i believe that prayer is for spiritual goals than getting answers to mundane problems like cure my cancer or pay my credit card debts or make me pass with a B in this math exam please kind of prayers .
however as i am growing older ( i am 37 years and 4 months ) i am getting the feeling that when the exuberance and optimism of youth fade away and we have rubbed our idealistic shins on the rough concrete of reality we need some support some hope that things will be better . that the situation will be saved ; that as long as i have good intentions God is watching over me and that he is a benevolent God ...
so should i change my tack about God and start praying to him to answer my prayers as long as i promise the goodness of my soul shall always grow stronger till i die ?
opinion please ... i am feeling confused .( i am not a Christian or i could ask my pastor for help ; and anyone of any religious denomination is free to answer candidly )

I think that he could be. Remember when Spinelli was at Kelly's and he was adament that Lulu couldn't be with Logan? I think that it would be too obvious for Scott to be Logan's father. A better twist would be for Luke to be the daddy. They could certainly work that angle. Luke disappears on a regular basis so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

I think it is, thats why I do it! But I don't hurt anyone. If I go to hell, GOOD. I don't want to spend eternity with a god as cruel, stupid, selfish, egomaniacial as that portrayed in the bible. That so-called god is evil, and I don't like being around evil beings.

The history of Organized Labor is rife with intimidation, violence, brutality, terrorism and murder. Even in recent times, labor thugs have proven themselves to be an unrepentant criminal entity:

1983 - Eddie York was murdered for crossing a United Mine Workers (UMW) picket line

1990 - on the first day of The New York Daily News strike, trucks were attacked with stones and sticks. One union member was immediately arrested for transporting Molotov cocktails

1998 - During the Communications Workers of America U.S. West strike a worker was threatened with a gun, and a manager was hit in the head with a rock

1998 - Teamsters Orestes Espinosa, Angel Mielgo, Werner Haechler, Benigno Rojas, and Adrian Paez beat, kicked, and stabbed a UPS worker (Rod Carter) who refused to strike

2004 AFL-CIO push their way into a Republican field office in Orlando FL, breaking the wrist of one staffer

An agnostic may lean heavily in one direction or another but in the final analysis says, I'm just not sure. An atheist says: "I know for an absolute fact without the slightest possibility to the contrary, that THERE IS NO GOD! What incredible faith.

Most religious people have doubts sometimes. It's part of being human. But to have absolute knoledge about something that can't be proven either way seems to hint at meglomania of somekind.
