hi i am writing a play about religion and how one man takes over the souls of others a la koresh, khomeni, aum, jim jones, si barba l ron hubbard etetcetc and forces them to be nothings in the name of him and how power over the vulnerable is a dangerous and terrifying thing-i want to explore why people revert to a child like view of the world and prostate theirselves before the ugly altar of obedience to religion and religious practices- so my question is- what do people get from religion? how does it help? what does it give you? what do you do with it?

I’ve been self-employed for about a year now and I have recently started keeping more detailed expense records. Because I use my home and personal automobile for business related purposes a lot of my ‘personal’ and business expenses are crossing and I’m having a hard time figuring out how to keep my records. As I understand it, my Internet, Cell Phone, Rent, Electricity, and Mileage are all or partially deductible on some level. My problem is that currently I am using my personal checking account to make payments for all of these things. I do have a Business checking account that I recently opened as a Sole Proprietor under my SSN but haven’t started using it just yet. My question is should I use my business account to pay my Internet, Cell Phone, Rent, and Electric bills in addition to my fixed operating expenses and other standard business related payments? The only conflict I could see is that in some cases only a portion of those expenses are deductible. Will that be an issue?

I have a dilemma. First, I'm 3 months pregnant with our first child, which is awesome. Second, we are in over our heads with mortgage, credit card, car, etc. bills. It's taking us forever to catch up and I'm worried about our future. We both make decent money. (household income is ~85 g/year) But we live above our means. My parents have a very nice, 5 bedroom house, which only them two share. They offered to help us out with our finances by us moving in with them for a couple of years. We will have to pay rent though which is fine. The thing is, we have to decide soon if this is what we want to do. They are thinking about moving to a small condiminium if we don't take their offer so they need to know so they know whether to put their house on the market. My husband is all for the idea. I'm just afraid that we will never grow up if my parents continue to rescue us all the time. Has anyone faced this before? If so, how did it pan out?

I know throwing up and not eating isn't thwe answer for everybody. It seems to be the answer for me. I gained fifty pounds and i am more than unhappy, I am suicidal. I only live for my children. If it was up to me, I would just die and get it over with. I can not stand the way I look. I need severe weight loss help. I have bee exercising two times a day and eating barely nothing and when I do eat I throuw it up. i hate myself, but I have to live as long as I can for my children. they need me to care for them. try being 27 yrs old divorced with six children from an ex-husnabd that doesn't support them or raise them. I want to be accepted by the men of today and myself. anyone can say what they want, but I am fat and ugly. I will do what i have to do to live or not.

Ok...Im just a nervous wreak. We are trying to buy a brand new manufactured home, through a USDA loan. We were pre-approved, and I sent in all the proper documentation to the mortgage company. They now tell me that they will send it to underwriting. Ok, she keeps telling me everything looks good, but I am still nervous....we have found the house, locked our price and done everything up to this point....is my odds good that it will go through underwriting.
