....that you not only learn more about who they are, but that your mutual respect makes both of you realize that we are not so different after all? I had the most beautiful exchange with a fine woman of a totally different belief system than I am committed to, and it was heart warming. I have respect for the beauty and humility of this woman. I will not give her name, as she is a bit shy, but I will say I am baking Cookies in her honor. In fact her generous spirit has reminded me I should take some of the cookies to an elderly man who has been a neighbor for the many years I have lived here, and he always loved the holiday treats I made. Today is a good day to do something for someone else, in fact every day is.

I am 3 days late for my period, ttc for 8 months. I just used clearblue digital pregnancy test and it flashed up with a little timer for about 2 minutes then just went blank - wheres my 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'?! I have sore boobs, low back ache, headache and dizziness, some cramping and tiredness. I am very aware that all these can be anything, including af coming, so I figured that 3 days late was long enough to test but just got a blank screen! Argh!

Its going to be end of October and rented out upstairs of bar until 10pm so don't want to do anything too crazy because we'll be mixing with the public later at night and people may not want to get dressed up in costume for that reason

I notice pre period i will touch my breasts and get a tiny amount of clear discharge. This time i have more on both nipples, but my left is more than right. The colour is greeny brown, and tender. I have never had this before, is it normal? I am taking Folic acid, could it be due to this? Also period is late, test said negative, so i think probably have period next week, if not i will do another test... could this be a prenancy sign? Sorry please try to answer my questions. I was watching this couple on TV who have been married for 25 years - they were dating for 4 years before they were married. They were giving a younger couple advice about it and some of things they said touched me:

- the husband said in order to love someone, you have to love yourself and you have to LOVE and accept the partner's "negative/weak" qualities FIRST before loving the "positive/strengths" so then you will love the person more. He said girls will be moody sometimes and he learned to love and accept it and vice versa

- Always stay positive, never give up on yourself and on your partner - DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT YOU TWO "who cares?" - even when there are problems, (financially, situational, etc...) always stay strong and say, "it's okay, everything's going to be okay.."

WHAT DO YOU THINK? TRUE? CAN YOU GUYS ADD MORE? I APPRECIATE ALL THE WISDOM :)

Union Job Security Question.?

I was hired as a high value clerk for UPS 5 weeks ago. I was hired because someone was out on workers comp and they needed a replacement. From what I have been told the person is returning in 6 weeks and I would be move to an unload position, which is 5-6 hours LESS per week, and .50-.75 less an hour. This is a total downgrade and I love the position I am doing now. How can I protect myself. I am currently paying my union dues.

An acquaintance of mine from highschool recently responded to a is everything okay email from me with some shocking news. Her husband of 4 years and the father of their 2 kids has been beating her, cheating on her, and lying to her and her family from the start. She doesn't want to leave him because she doesn't think they'll let her keep the kids because she never graduated hs, has no job, and he doesn't beat the kids, plus she says where would they go? She doesn't want to take her kids with her to a shelter. The girl is 2 and she just had a baby boy in August. What can I tell her? I want to give her some words of courage and advice, understanding and strength but I don't know what to say or how to say it. We're not close, I barely spoke to her in hs! Help!
