I notice pre period i will touch my breasts and get a tiny amount of clear discharge. This time i have more on both nipples, but my left is more than right. The colour is greeny brown, and tender. I have never had this before, is it normal? I am taking Folic acid, could it be due to this? Also period is late, test said negative, so i think probably have period next week, if not i will do another test... could this be a prenancy sign? Sorry please try to answer my questions. Thank you.

NO, it is not normal, and NO it isn't a sign of pregnancy, it is a possible sign of breast cancer. Get yourself to a doctor asap.

Having greenish discharge from you nipples during any time is most commonly diagnosed as duct ectasia. That is a non-harmfull clogging or inflammation of the mammary ducts. You should see your OBGYN who may want to take a sample on a Q-tip to send to a lab to make sure this is no other problem...and you may also want to get a Mammogram to again make sure this is nothing more serious. Again, non painful discharge(as long as it is not bloody) that is not associated with a mass or infection in your breast is nothing more than a non-bacterial clogged duct.
Good luck!
