i will be taking a reading comprehension test for up. anyone know how hard it is to pass? do you get your score right then? any additional info would be great thanks!

have just been given a brand new gas cooker,do I need to call in a gas fitter, or can we just disconnect one stove and connect the new one ourselves?

Its in my mathbook:

On many graphing calculators /x/ (the slanted lines are suppose to be absolute values signs) is denoted by ABS(x). use a graphing calculator to graph the absolute value function.
then use the drace feature TO FIND THE CORRESPONDING X VALUES FOR THE GIVEN Y VALUES.


i dont understand the caps part.

i know how to graph the first equation and then press trace on my graphing calculator but then wuts up with the nine? do i have to do any other math?

I just purchased a d-link wbr 2310 router to share the internet connection on my desktop to my laptop. both computers can now connect to the internet no problem. however, i noticed that when i try downloading big files (50 MB up) the download never finishes and stays at around 50%. One time it only downloaded 4%. I was able to finish downloading a 20 MB file but that was the biggest file i could download. I thought this was only on the laptop but the same thing also happened to my desktop. This has never happened before i installed the router so something must be wrong with my setting or setup. router firmware is updated but it didn't help. Any ideas on this?. Thank you.

My grandmother was born there in the early 1900's, and when I visited Germany about 20 years ago, I couldn't find in on a map, but it was probably a very small town. My friend thinks it was likely in northern Germany and its name was possibly changed at some point.

i am an idaho employer who recently hired an employee who refused to fill out and submit a w4. i kept getting the same excuses, i forgot my information, etc. after a week i terminated the employee. now the ex employee wants their pay and i dont know what to do regarding the lack of federal tax documents. i later learned that the employee wouldnt fill it out because she didnt want to report her new job to unemployment. what do i do?

Our son has decided last minute that he wanted to join 8th grade football (he has never played before) So we rushed around to get all his equipment and spent alot of money doing so. He has attended 3 practices and has not yet played in a game. He says that it hurts and it is no the sport for him. All the sudden he has decided that he wants to quit and keeps asking us if he can.
I think he should finish what he started but I am undecided I also think it will toughen him up a bit

I have to present a speech...why nuclear power station shouldn't be built in our town.

I know people wouldn't want it because of the danger of accidents etc. but that's not enough for a speech ^.^
Why would you be against the build of a nuclear power plant in your town?
