After reading the question from the guy in India who wants to marry his first cousin, I started thinking about why I have no sexual desire for any of my female relatives.

I have a niece and a first cousin who are in their late teens. They're both hot, but my cousin is Miss America quality.
She's prettier than most girls I've ever dated, but I don't have fantasies of her and I in bed. When I was a little kid, I had a crush on a 12 years older girl relative whose great grandmother and my great grandmother were first cousins. That means we don't share enough of the same DNA to cause potential birth defects.

My question: Is there a biological sense that keeps us from being attracted to relatives who share too many of the same DNA in order to prevent birth defects? Most animals, humans included, usually resort to incest if there's not much choice in mates. Therefore, risky birth is better than no offspring at all
OR, are we just drilled from birth into believing it's wrong?

Mine is how advertising targets women into thinking they are ugly, fat, worthless, poor mothers and need to buy whats being advertised to redeem themselves....thats why I hate TV...there are worse but currently this one actually is easily investigated...plus I am a woman and a mother. It irks me to see all the time spent on the oppression of women and capitalism...you would think things would be different by now!!!

This month I did not receive a reminder to check my statement. They keep sending you email to enroll solely in electronic communication so you have no record.

I always pay in full and on time and I use the maximum of their rewards programs, so I'm probably not a profitable customer for them. With all the financial trouble lately, I wouldn't be surprised if someone in the chain 'ordered' someone to do something. I know Chase and Citibank are the type of companies where bottom line is very important and if a fraction of the people don't reverse / notice the charge, then it would be very profitable for the particular group in this financial quarters results.

Anyone notice this? You can google credit card stories on how they will wait until the last minute to post your payment, so they can hit you with the fees.

This to me seems like a good way to also do it. "We sent the email, our records say! Pay the late fee!"

And yes I checked my junk mail box.

From: http://www.lezbeout.com/ancientgaymarriageoftwomalesaints.htm

"Professor Boswell discovered that in addition to heterosexual marriage ceremonies in ancient church liturgical documents (and clearly separate from other types of non-marital blessings of adopted children or land) were ceremonies called, among other titles, the "Office of Same Sex Union" (10th and 11th century Greek) or the "Order for Uniting Two Men" (11th and 12th century).

These ceremonies had all the contemporary symbols of a marriage: a community gathered in a church, a blessing of the couple before the altar, their right hands joined as at heterosexual marriages, the participation of a priest, the taking of the Eucharist, a wedding banquet afterwards. All of which are shown in contemporary drawings of the same sex union of Byzantine Emperor Basil I (867-886) and his companion John."

Why deny and protest your own history?

Last night our neighbor's cats were very vocal with one another. I assume they were mating calls. A couple hours later the male showed up on our doorstep crying. His head, ears and face were bleeding from several scratches and it looks like a small part of one ear was bitten off. He has been sleeping here for hours and no one has been home at his place, so we have been watching over him. Any advice?

I need a very brief history of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), including founders and year established.

Also, did a specific situation/event/problem serve as a catalyst for the group's founding? How?

I saw a movie (rented it) that was so incredibly frightening to watch that it left me traumatized! Seriously. The movie (filmed sometime in the 80's) in its opening scene showed a normal American family going to bed and saying their good nights. Sometime in the middle of the night the smallest of the siblings, a little 8-10 year old girl, heard a noise in the living room. Frightened she hid in a closet and started hearing the voices of strange men in her house. It is a classic. I mean the film is so incredibly realistic of a break in, kidnapping, rape, and murder that it has to be one of the scariest films out there!

I have a friend who is bulimic and she just can't seem to stop. I started researching it a lot to try and find out all the negatives of it so I could tell her. But when I said that it really doesn't do anything for but possibly make you gain weight, she ignored me.
What happens to your foods once you eat them and throw them up? Do all the fats and bad stuff already get absorbed in your body once you swallow it? Does anyone know the process? For example, ice cream.
