I just want to know why I, as a person with NO children, have to pay the same school taxes as my neighbor who has 4 of the little basturds.
I should pay NONE and they should pay more.

Not all that the government does is evil. It sponsors medical research that helps cure diseases and prevent epidemics. It keeps roads, aqueducts, and airports in good condition. It maintains the largest prison system in the world...ooops. It has helped students with student loans in the past and may again someday. It used to police toxic emissions and someday it might do so again. It is frustrating. Anything good you do only saves them money and then they can spend it on prisons and wars. I guess the bottom line is, pay your taxes because if you don't you will go to prison. Thats a great motivator for patriotism. Look into moving to a country that isn't evil. There are lots of them. If you have good job skills they will let you settle there, and you will probably even get medical care for the taxes you pay instead of wars and no medical care for the taxes you pay here. America's day is over, get out before its too late.

Sadly it's the law and there's not much you can do about it.
One thing you could do though would be Gift Aid any charitable or church donations. In the UK charities can reclaim 28 pence for every pound given to them if you complete a declaration form.
That way you have control over what some of the tax you pay goes to.

Besides the fact that it is the law and you would go to jail or lose your property in seizures, here are a few reasons:
1. A secure country compared to many places in the world
2. Good roads
3. Excellent schools
4. Fresh water
5. A good economy
6. An environment that allows people to have some form of freedom as long as they don't become violent.
7. Great health care
8. The ability to speak one's mind
9. Good police that are not (generally) corrupt
10.A good court system for settling disputes.
There are many many reasons. But if you don't like them, then there are many many countries to chose.

I agree with you. You guys pay a shyte load of taxes to support a bigoted, hypocritical, homophobic society. Your public schools suck, social security is bankrupt, private health care is the most expensive in the world, insurance costs are absurd and gays are treated like second class citizens. In Holland it's so much better. Even in Canada it's better.

because you use the toilet, call the police when you are in trouble, call the fire department when your house is burning down, use the hospital when youa re sick, drive on roads, walk on sidewalks fly in airplanes ,went to school , and use all the other services that your taxes pay for. Your taxes pay for the basic infrastructure that makes your life so comfortable including free lawyers when youare in trouble with the law and a military that protects your right to snivel about how " hateful" the government is.

Why should I pay to support all the b.s. social programs I benefit not a bit from? Because I have no choice. Just like you. Try not paying. See ya on the news as they haul you off.

You certainly don't have to pay taxes if you chose not to. This is a free country, after all.
But, you must be prepared for the consequences.... That's being an adult.

I believe there is a way that you can exempt yourself from taxes entirely but it makes you persona non grata to the US.
Go ahead- if you think things are bad now you'll see.
...and once you do it, there no turning back.
