I've owned the GPS for four weeks, and the last time I plugged it in, it said "running on battery power" and then eventually ran out of battery. Is it more likely that it's the car or the GPS that's faulty, or is there no way of knowing from only this information? Thanks!

We as humans define our world by our beliefs and conceptions. If we believe the world if flat and the sun revolves around us, then it does, it will not matter what the truth is to us it will be as we believe. So if this is the case why then have we convinced ourselves that a fairy tale type (not mirror but type) love is impossible?

The fairy tales written down, not our modern sanitised children’s versions but originals, were based on the oral tradition of the previous generations, in effect on the legends of the generations that came before. All legends contain a grain of truth, at least one single fact that the legend is based on with the rest being an attempt to explain this fact. All creation myths are built on this, the fact - something exists, the legend - trying the explain why. All legends have some form of truth to them, a basic story line fleshed out with extraordinary things to make sure it is remembered. A fairy tale is based on a legend, in effect it is a legend.

So why then is it that we (or at least most) believe, if all legends have some truth and most fairy tales are legends, that it is impossible to have a fairy tale type love in reality? What is it about ourselves, as adults in this world, that makes us so cynical and jaded that we believe that it is impossible?

AND

Is there anyway to reverse this cynicism and ‘jading’?

I'm not putting this post up to start an argument, Halo is in fact the best game ever... I'm not saying this because I believe that it is, I think that if more people played halo (not that there is already millions that do) I think people would agree with me. Mario, Final Fantasy, and Unreal Tournament are all indeed great selling games, and are the top selling games ever, but there is no comparison to Halo 1, 2, or 3. Halo 3 will be released in a day from now. I recommend everyone with an xbox 360 to buy it. Halo 3 will be one of the most top selling games in the world, that also means that it will be one of the most selling disc's in the world, and I'm not just talking about video games... I am talking about movies, cd's, games, pc games, anything that is a disc. If you believe that there is a better game than Halo, re-think that... Halo will never be beaten, it is in fact. The greatest game ever.

First of all, what exactly is a niche? Is it where an organism lives its life? Can a habitat include only one niche? I have an 85 S-10 Blazer SUV with V8 350 engine from 77 Caprice. The radiator is for Corvette, heater used restricted nipple to reduce the flow into heater core. I have been trying to eliminate the overheat problem by not using A/C, however, during the hot days, temp. around 90 F, the car will overheat. I decided to remove the A/C system all together including condensor to improve the radiator efficiency, mounts one push fan in front the radiator...any other ways to eliminate the overheat problem? The distance between flex fan turns with engine, is about 1.5 inches, thus, cannot use pull fans.

sadly I have lost my camera memory card and I do have the picts on my computer but I think that saddest thing is that someone has my families pictures with them by the way I lost it at walmart, if you were to take it would you bother w/those picts or would you erase and reuse it agian I over here crying because why couldnt they just turn it in like nice people.Please advise!!

I dont mean he has to have a rifle or gun in this hand but he should at least be doing something. He has all of the secretaries so he basically doesnt have to do anything but tell them to do his job. I feel like if the president give orders to army and all of the other millitary groups, he should have to be in iraq something. How can he be give the label of "Commander-in-Chief" and he doesnt even have to put his live on the line or anything, while the soilders risk there lives everyday in Iraq. The president has a label on him as if he President is better than any other millitary person. Isnt everybody important down to the lowest ranks, if so why doesnt "The President" do any work. He doesnt even write his speeches. The president just has to much power i think the US should do away with the president completely.

I work for a small plumbing company in Ca. I have been looking to start my own business and word must have gotten out, as I was approached by one of the builders that the small company works for and was told the only reason they are still hiring us is because of me. They want me to sub-contract for them. This is a very good opportunuty for me to start my own business with a good client. I have signed no competition clause paperwork, can my company I work for now sue me?
I know it's not good practice, but they would find another company anyway.

I was recently charged (April)with possesion of firearms illegally(2 of them). There is an obscure law that prohibits certain persons from being in possession or otherwise able to obtain a firearm.
I had no knowledge and upon research nor have many hundreds of other people in the same legal predicament I was in. I had obtaind 2 weopons from my fathers estate...I suppossedly had a 10 yr ban above the 3yr probation I had completed back in 2000. ...I was about 27 days short of that ban...I never owned or tried to own any weopons.
To make a long story short...I was looking at 2 yrs state prison and it was reduced to a minor noise violation with a fine...should I have tried to fight the whole thing in a trial and end up in prison or count my blessings and be glad I took the noise violation...which only is a $130 fine...and no other restrictions or probation.
During the Evidence hearing the DA and my atty. had the cops testify diiferent accounts of what happened....
