Wiring is copper or aluminum and it doesn't rust. Condoms are for ..... Oh never mind. Hire an electrician.

I wouldnt suggest you use a condom...even though they do have there use's they arent intended for that...i would go to your local hardware store and buy some insulation tape..also there is 100mile and hour tape,this can be use in any situation....that could be what you want to be using...to be very sure you are on the right track with your repairs i would also suggest you had a qualified sparky look at the wiring...best of luck...

I would think it would work fine. You wrap a condom around your pipe and it protects your wiring and prevents it from rusting.........right? lol

Won't pass code, but might work? Make sure they aren't used. Make sure you aren't wearing it if you try this on your own. That's a wrap on my comment. Rust never sleeps.

wire is generally made of copper which doesn't rust unless of coarse you have aluminum wire which...also doesn't rust. Maybe there's a screw loose?

I have heard that they have been used for a lot of other reasons,other than what they are intended,but protection for wiring ,not heard of that.

try shrink tube.... ask for it at your local auto parts store....
