Most of the time snow doesn't "stick" till after New Years.

Once in a blue moon, it will snow for Thanksgiving. Usually, however, it starts to snow in late December, and most often in January and February.Also March, some years, sees snow.

It has happened as early as Thanksgiving in the past. But it usually doesn't snow until late December.

In the past, we would get our first snow in early/mid December. The past few years, however, it has started late December, to early/mid January.
