I think this might be it for his career. I don't even think he's good enough to be a backup quarterback. He can whine about Detroit all he wants, but he's had chances. He's a terrible decision-maker and too cowardly to remain in the NFL.

Do you see his career rightfully ending soon?

I travel quite a bit to many different cities. I have noticed that every major city is ALWAYS conjested in creeping traffic for at least 2 hours in the morning and two hours in the evening.

The amount of wasted fuel and global warming must be stupendous. We are humans that have sent men to the moon, cured diseases, built enormous skyscrapers, etc.
Why can we not figure out how to diffuse traffic conjestion better, i.e., force companies to stagger work times other than 9 to 5? Or create forced carpooling for certain times? Is it our freedom that makes us slaves to traffic conjestion?
This just seems to be such a huge problem that should not be. Does anybody have any good ideas?

There's a guy I met who has been e-mailing, sending SMS (almost everyday even when I don't reply) and lately has been calling me up, for 7 months now. He's really nice and says things like "I'm glad I can keep calling you up now", sends me SMS kisses and always checks up to see if I'm already home or if I had my dinner. Yet he has never asked me out! Would a guy do these things to one who's 'just a friend'?

I grew up believing that there is one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. Meaning that once you are baptized no matter the age your sins will be cleansed easily as long as you seek forgiveness.

However there seems to be a group of people who believe that baptism is a religious right, or a leap of faith into their new religion (born again and such)

Leaving adult, baby baptism and quotes aside.

What does it mean to you? The right to have your sins washed away, a show of faith for your own religion or something totally different?

P.S.

I will not ridicule any honest answers, I’m just curious as to what you think it means. Everyone is welcome to answer.

I have done this TWICE before but again, for a personal project, I'm taking a poll to see what comments and thoughts people have on this topic.

Please answer your question based on your political beliefs and state why. I am trying to gain a bigger perspective with more answers.

Ok.So here it is.If one is neglected and ignored thoroughly and has no friends, isn't it better to die rather that living like an outcast? If one has no familal support to even encourage the person to get up and fight his/her weaknesses, isn't it better to just get rid of the ugly realities of the world? If one is being tortured for a period of over 10 years or if child abuse like social and emotional occured and if the person has no hope to survive at all, isn't it better to wrap yourself around the shadows of death because after all death is very peaceful. The only fear we have to fear is fear itself...right? So, what do you think if a person has no scope to survive at all and absolute zero hope of progress due lack of any kind of support in this world full of misery, narrow domesticated walls of the mind and corruption, isn't it better to just peacefully to swift away form this world of a lost faith?

I interviewed with a great company two weeks ago. The person who interviewed me said it would take a week to make their decision. After my interview, I wrote a thank you letter to my interviewer. Last week, I called my interviewer to ask if I was still being considered a candidate, and she sounded really positive. She said the process was taking a little longer than expected. It has been a week since I talked to her. Should I e-mail the HR department and ask them if they intend to hire me?

I've read on different sites how atmospheric conditions limit telescopes' maximal performance/magnification based on Rayleigh criterion.
In telescopes' manuals are given 2 resolutions based on both standards.
They are given in arc seconds. So my question is:
If I know the Dawes limit ot the other can I calculate the maximal magnification based on it?I have resolution based on aperture and magnification based on aperture but such a "max reasonable magnification" is no good to me because that "reasonable" is relative.I want magnification based on resolution(arc seconds). How to calculate?
