May need a larger area, how big is tank? Need to be at minimum 1 gallon per 1 inch of fish, and remember a ten gallon tank doesn't hold ten gallons of water, you must account for rock, filter, and other materials in tank. Ten gallon tank usually holds around eight gallons. Also try plenty of grass, fake or real doesn't matter so they can hide.

you will desire to verify that your fish have someplace to conceal distant from the serpae's. vegetation, wood and ornaments can all furnish look after for the fish. additionally, in user-friendly terms be sure you have a minimum of 5 of each style of fish. If fish are in an excellent greater effective college, they're safer against greater aggressive fish, and if aggressive fish have an excellent greater effective team, they are going to probably chase eachother somewhat than your distinctive fish. Serpaes can sometimes be greater aggressive than the elementary tempered fish you have. i might the two separate them or discover somebody else to take them off your hands. with a bit of luck this helps. there is not any longer a stable purchase you're waiting to do.

This is not real unusual behavior. Provide plants and rocks for break up in the terrain. If you have a particularly aggressive individual take him/her out and trade for a different one from the pet store. These are not typically aggressive fish, but occasionally, just like with people, one is a jerk. Good luck.
