I think this might be it for his career. I don't even think he's good enough to be a backup quarterback. He can whine about Detroit all he wants, but he's had chances. He's a terrible decision-maker and too cowardly to remain in the NFL.

Do you see his career rightfully ending soon?

"Final indictment?" You needed MORE proof? His career's been doomed since draft day.

Leftwich was on waivers for a reason, he won't solve the Falcons QB woes anymore then Harrington has. Byron is a guy that needs a ton of time to find his receivers downfield and is not very mobile...just like Harrington. The only difference is that Byron is a better leader who can help a team win. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for him to move up the depth chart, doubt he will be starting before week 8 unless Redman is hurt. Harrington will go back to being a solid backup, probably never more then that.

Well I think that Leftwich was a great add for the Falcons and not so good for Harrington. The bottom line is Harrington cant convert we his team needs him to and he is not the right guy to lead a team. Leftwich should take over QB and will put an early end to the Falcons QB problem this year. I'm just finally glad Harrington is away from the Lions so he can stop embarrassing his team every Thanksgiving. Harrington is officially done.

He will probably stick around for about five more seasons or so but not much longer. Now if he was a third round draft pick instead of a first he would be one of the best backups in the league but the Lions made a bad decision and that happens with that organization.

Maybe not career...I could see them giving him a few more games and assuming most are losses, they'll switch to Leftwich. I could see someone else though, pick him up as a backup for a while based on his name alone.

who know si thnk Harrington is a very good QB but the Falcons have never done crap to get premium WR's into the team so when you got crap to throw too you end up with crappy stats. He'd still be in Detriot and winning had they had an "O" line with a dang to protect him seeming they had a ton of talent at WR

i wouldn't say his career is over. if he could get on a team with a durable qb he could get work as a backup (be a good backup for peyton who hasn't missed a game so far in his career), but to be honest i don't see him doing much else in this league, other than holding place kicks maybe.
