A family member recently announced that she's pregnant...apparently by artificail insemination, (she's unmarried with two kids already). What I'm wondering is, when one goes through the whole process, how long does it usually take, and when you're going through treatments is it wise to drink and party? She convienantly announced this after she hooked up with some guy in July. I think that she's saying she went and got artificially inseminated instead of getting pregnant by this guy she doesn't even know! Any info on the whole process would be great! I love this family member, but I think she shouldn't lie to her family.

Some posters say that there is no gender pay discrimination, since there are laws against it (like the Pay Equity Act). They say feminists are making a mountain out of a molehill.

But after the Enron and Worldcom scandals, how can you trust businesses to obey the law? If businesses can get away with saving tons of money by paying women less, why wouldn't they?

hello! thanks for reading! so my problem is this: In the last year or two, my neighbourhood has been growing a stray cat population.All our neighbours feed them and they live at our house. All started out as kittens but two, and they have grown, and now there's a new momma with kittens. Their eyes are open, but they're pretty small, as is the momma. I'd like to catch them and domesticate them, or even just spay them. any ideas that work as to how to catch them without hurting them? we don't mind them, and don't want them put down, but these ones would make good pets. thanks soooo much! please hurry!

for weeks there were people bashing the Raiders. Now even though we haven't won a game it seems that all the Raider bashing has gone away. I am eloping in a couple weeks with my fiance at Marthas Vineyard. We have the beach picked out but we don't have a back up plan for bad weather. Does anyone know the island enough to tell me another -Covered- spot incase it rains besides our hotel room? I don't have to worry about guests but it will also be too last minute (& too expensive) for a rented venue.
