I have had very little experience with a debit card, as we live in a rural area where myself and my hubby's bank does not even offer debit cards. I was a bank teller years ago, when they just offered atm cards. My son, off at college, has strictly a debit card. Me the giver and him the spender with that card. Why do transactions, specifically pay at the gas pump, (outside at the actual pump, swiping the card on the pump) post while as a pending debit for only $1, then when the actual transaction clears, up to three days later, it will go through for the whole amount. Why don't those sites just make the pending debit the same amount as the actual transaction?

The liberals at the anti-war protest chanted to allow a conservative who "crashed" the microphone talk: "Let him speak! Let him speak!" Meanwhile, the audience at the Kerry speech sat there...just SAT there. Any principal in a school would have said, "Stop that now! I will answer the question!" - but Kerry didn't demonstrate that level of leadership to the crowd.
Is the average American ready to speak up to protect their right to speak, and our right to elect officials who listen to the people or will we cower in fear of our own adminstration as they say they want to protect us from terrorists?

OK, if the ambulance is on its way to the hospital with someone in the back, in an emergency, and they see an accident or some kind of emergency on the raod, do they stop, or keep going??

When I first bought my xp computer, I was going to use it only for games. So I deleted anything on it that had to do with the internet. Now, 5 years later, I want internet on it. I bought a router and plugged it in. I have internet explorer again (but I can't go on the internet), and when I was in dos mode, it said I WAS connected to the internet, but I still can't open any sites. I've done everything, and I still cant go on the internet. I'm afraid i deleted something crucial and the computer doesn't understand that im connected.

I don't have a problem with player's putting a "lucky token" on their hole cards. I do it myself. I use an old 50 cent piece. Do you think a player should be allowed to put his hands over the flop or other player's cards or aim it at the deck...or the dealer? Example.....Humberto Brenes (with his sharks).. I for one don't think so. Dressing weird and wearing sunglasses is one thing. Sticking your hands and or toys over and around the table is another. Gimme' your thoughts and opinions.
