First, and most obviously, your hair must be shoulder length to start with. Next, the entire top and half of the crown has to be cut into long layers. Then from the bottom of the crown downward, that must be cut in layers so the bottom looks peaked and jagged. The last step is a wild blow dry and mousse or gel to make it stand up and out and sideways!

Ok wash it with a volume shampoo. Take a round brush and your hair dryer and start from your roots and bring it straight off your head. (only do this where you want more volume.) dry the rest (like the front) straight down! pulling up at roots. remember not to be too harsh with your hair or all you will get it frizz! when its about halfway dry put some volume moose in it by starting from the roots again and out! and in the back, bring it straight off your head in the direction you want it to go! Finish drying your hair and use your flat iron to swish your bangs over and kinda under at the bottom. Use flat iron to straighten all of your hair and in the back, go down from the roots and then you should end up going up at the ends! like your trying to flip it out! use brush and hairspray to get the last touches perfect and use moose to clam any frizz! Hope it helps! it looks like a really cute hair cut!good luck

All you need to do is apply hairspray to the base of the area you want the hair to stick up like that then take a comb a tease the base which means holding the hair up and combing it the opposite way.(towards your scalp)

Ok, get side swept bangs at the salon. Use a straightner on basically every inch of your hair. Push up your front hair a little upward/forwardish , use a bobby pin.
This will help I had hair like that before =]

Go to the salon and just ask for the cut but make sure they know how to do it!!
or
Do it your self. It adds a little more of YOU when you do this kind of hair cut. make sure to be very creative when you do the cut use bright colors, different kinds of textures, and always have side bangs that look good on your face.

Before you even attempt it, please ask a hairstylist if it would work with your type of hair. with those hairstyles you need a lot of flat iron time, and that can really cause some damage. If your hair is naturally dry or frizzy then really get their opinion. oh and be prepared to pay, highlights for those extreme colors are expensive, and may fade fast depending on your natural hair color.
PS. I don't think they are trashy, kind of punk rock, if not taken to crazy extremes. good luck

i just got mine done like that again
first things first is that you have to get it layered and layering takes a long time to get back to normal
you want to keep the bottom the same length and get the top half of your hair in short choppy layers
but keep the bottom the way it is
and get side bangs or leave your bangs alone
you will love it

i love these kinds of hair cuts. i would never be able to pull it off but just print the pictures and they will def. know what to do. i would go to a place like regis if they have one in a mall near you. they do great with these styles. just make sure you have good hairspray, teasing comb, and gel... good luck! =]
