One tv station showed the Iraq Veteran's Against War, while the other showed the student being tazered for asking a question....
The liberals at the anti-war protest chanted to allow a conservative who "crashed" the microphone talk: "Let him speak! Let him speak!" Meanwhile, the audience at the Kerry speech sat there...just SAT there. Any principal in a school would have said, "Stop that now! I will answer the question!" - but Kerry didn't demonstrate that level of leadership to the crowd.
Is the average American ready to speak up to protect their right to speak, and our right to elect officials who listen to the people or will we cower in fear of our own adminstration as they say they want to protect us from terrorists?

He had s a right to speak. but the others had a right to hear what John Kerry has to say in response.
he has a responsibility to ask his question, then shut up and let John Kerry speak.
You have just made it clear why John Kerry was not elected president. No leadership!

I am not completely sure if you are asking more or venting - either is fine - I am just not sure. We are all disgusted at times by power without substance. I was disgusted by the Kerry incident, but then I am disgusted with Kerry. I don't cower in fear - I vote and support my chosen candidate however is possible. There are many times I do not like the system, but then I remember that this is one of the best governments out there. We have the freedom to disagree, to become jaded, to speak out and rant. Those who do not vote and do not care have no voice - I don't consider them a part of this system.
