I am jewish acually.But i am very intrested in why this is done.Is it a custom or something with more meaning?Please answer only serious answers and i dont wanna exclude anyone but i would like muslims who are observant to answer.But you arent moslem and you know the answer let me know.

Thanks alot for the Kind words friend. You see we always compliment God or his prophets. For God/ALLAH we use SWT = Subhab Wa Tall hu (all praise belongs to God) and for prophets we use PBUH like Prophet Moses( Peace be upon him)

It's a transliteration of the first letters of the Arabic words in the phrase "Subhanahu Wa Ta3ala" meaning "Glorious and Exalted is He (Allah)"

It is optional and rewardable to say after saying Allaah, "subHaanahu wa ta^aalaa" in full and not in abbreviations.

It means, Allaah is clear of all unbefitting attributes.
